Arena Multiplayer Maps

I’ve been playing Halo since the release of Halo: Combat Evolved up to Halo 5, and I have put in hours upon hours of gameplay into every halo mode imaginable. I must say that Halo 5 multiplayer maps are by far the weakest and the least memorable out of the Halo Franchise. Am I the only person who thinks this or does anyone else agree with me? I’d love to hear any feedback from any of my fellow halo gamers!

Side note: My favorite Halo multiplayer maps were from Halo 2, followed by Halo 3, Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 4, and Halo Reach. Not to mention that just about every Halo 2 and Halo 3 multiplayer map was SOLID, if not a classic!

I have posted on this situation several times already. Just an idea I had to keep old and new fans happy. I’d love to see classic remasters added to H5. The current H5 maps leave alot to be desired unfortunately. HCEA and H2A already have 12 of the best maps from HCE and H2, and are some of my personal favorites. For those that don’t know here they are:

HCE
Solitary = Prisoner
Battle Canyon = Battle Creek
High Noon = Hang Em High
Penance = Damnation
Blood Line = Blood Gulch
Warlord = Wizard

H2
Lock down = Lockout
Zenith = Ascension
Remnant = Relic
Stone Town = Zanzibar
Shrine = Sanctuary
Breakneck = Headlong

All of these maps are running in the MCC on X1 already. Why not port them in to H5!? They would play awesome with spartan abilities and veteran players would feel right at home!

i would love to see more maps and some more classics would be good but porting them over may not work since porting can bring problems with it now lets say every thing ports well and their is no major problems the maps them self could play well with halo 5s movement and sandbox or they could play really badly since they have not been made for halo 5s game play big team battle like maps would be more accepting of halo 5s game play but arena like maps would be more tricky and the maps that dont play to well could be dropped or the maps could be modified to work better with halo 5 but some fans may not like that depending on the amount of change and how accepting the fans are of the changes and if the changes are good for the map or are bad for the map … okay and another question is if they get ported and it play like they always have is that a good thing they may still play well but do they play well with halo 5 and i dont mean just because they play well on halo 5 i mean do they play well with halo 5 does halo 5s mechanics make the map play better does it that map playing on halo 5s engine change the way that map is played does it make it better does it make it funner if it doesn’t do any thing to make the map play any different or better then it does not play well with halo 5 …imo!

anyway these are the problems i can see at the moment

I can only see the mechanics of H5 making any of these maps play better then they already did. Even if they played worse there still 10x better then most of H5 maps now.

343 can’t be that worried about the communities acceptance of change either cuz they have already changed virtually every aspect of Halo significantly since Bungie.

How are BTB maps better. Most of H5s maps have a level of verticality in them to enable the use of ground pound and clamber. The above maps also have ranging levels of verticality from little to high, as well as range of scale from tight to wide open. Pretty much perfect for H5 play mechanics. I for one would have mad fun playing these maps!

P.s. I’m no English teacher but man your killing me with no punctuation. A few more periods never hurt anybody bro. Just sayin

… im fine with any map as long as it plays well and halo 5 adds something to it making it better. btb maps would be more accepting because they have more natural train and are more lenient when it comes to spartan ability being used.

Most of the maps are okay, but they aren’t anything special to me or memorable. I think maybe Tyrant and Empire/Eden (I always get those two mixed up) are my favourites, with Truth, The Rig and Torque being my least favourites.

I’ve played 3, Reach, 4 and 5, but Halo 3 maps had the best for me personally. High Ground, Snowbound, Sandtrap, The Pit, Construct, Guardian, Narrows, Rat’s Nest. Sandtrap is already, I’d love to see some more remade for 5.

I agree, the maps suck. Simple is better. I think the breakout maps would be better honestly.
