First things first, I don’t enjoy ranting about things like this. But is anyone else consistently being matched against teams in a higher rank? I qualified in platinum, but in every game I’m playing teams where all or 3/4 of them are in diamond. Don’t get me wrong, I like the challenge, but when the rest of my team is platinum 1 and going -12 it’s pretty impossible to rank up.
You’d think it would be easy to match 4 platinums against 4 platinums, that way if you’re consistently winning games you rank up to diamond, and so on and so forth. If they absolutely have to match you against higher ranks, then losing to them shouldn’t derank you at all. I’d rather the system spend an extra 30 seconds matchmaking if it meant the teams would be even.
