Why does matching now mean we have to play the same few people over and over and over? Even if the games were completely uneven in terms of skill, we get re-matched with the same people. It happens on Balanced and Focused search modes. I love all these new updates (never once complained!) but this one thing has really dragged the fun out of playing Arena.
Consider waiting for a few minutes before going into another game ?
Cause unless you left the playlist and started search again the probability of bumping into the same people from the prev lobby is likely
Waiting does help. I use “focused” and after each game is done I always back out and wait a bit in the lobby. Then start a new game after a few minutes. But remember this “matchmaking preference” is by no means perfect! They should of had server selection by itself and kept it totally simple.
Yeah you are of course right, since I posted this I think I’ve found the results a lot better. I also like that I end up in a lot of 49-50 games now showing that matches can be really close.
