A buddy of mine were talking about some cool game types or game modes 343 could possible implement if everyone else agreed on it. To make a long story short, we thought about a “classic” MLG playlist.
Imagine popping in your Halo 5 disc, scrolling through the menu’s as usual and entering the “ARENA” category. When you look down all you see is a “Classic MLG” game type that starts players off with a H2 BR. 4v4, Slayer, Bomb, and/or CTF on symmetrical based maps!
I watched the VLOG on why 343 didn’t put BR spawns in for H5 Arena, but with the release of Valentine’s Day Doubles and Riptide, the H2 BR has been requested numerous amounts of time.
I’m curious to see what you guys/girls think about the idea. Should 343 implement a classic MLG mode that is only played on Symmetrical maps with Battle rifle starts? Or should they not implement this idea at all for it’s too “old-fashioned” and Halo players need to proceed with the present?
In my opinion, there’s nothing wrong with wanting to feel nostalgia from your all time favorite game. Everyone should enjoy the game, rather it’s an old or new fan. I think a classic MLG game mode will expand the Halo 5 community by far and bring back that old Halo spark everyone’s been dying for!
