Whatever happened to good old CTF? I know it’s still kind of there in Big Team Battle and Team Arena playlists but I want to just play CTF on it’s own. They had it on Halo 4 and it’s been something I’ve loved in many of the games, especially driving around in a warthog with friends and cleaning up the battlefield. I was wondering if anyone knew why it went or even if they’re thinking about bringing it back? Also if anyone else agrees with me; if enough then perhaps I (we) could start a poll and see if we can’t do something about it.

I would play more Team Arena if they would just remove Breakout from it. I’m not even sure how this fits in since its a no shield, one life mode. But I do agree, CTF needs its own playlist as does Strongholds and BR Slayer. However, the question remains on whether the community is large enough for separate playlists?
I wasn’t hugely fond of Arena Breakout but I played it a while today and it’s not too bad, better than I thought. I was highly shocked when I opened up Arena to only see 6 playlists available. A good question, I would certainly be playing more Arena if those were available playlists as opposed to Warzone that I’ve currently fallen in love with. Thanks for your thoughts, much appreciated. Totally agree. Have made a few posts showing my favour for removing breakout or make CTF and Strongholds their own playlists. Please 343 make this happen.

I have tried Breakout and its not for me. All of those hours spent on Gears of War Execution have given me my taste of 1 life rounds to last a lifetime. I am not a hardcore gamer due to work schedule and such so I just want to enjoy myself. It’s difficult to do at times though between the lack of modes and quitters.

God yes, CTF was my favorite mode. I refuse to play a playlist just for the CHANCE to play CTF, especially considering how many tiny maps there are. Infection is the only other thing I like nearly as much as CTF, and maybe grifball. And of course none of that is in this one. All gametypes should be on their own, with a gametype mix for those who want variety. I played SO much ctf back in halo 1, almost always in Blood Gulch, haha. As it is I play exclusively Warzone because of it.
CTF epitomizes what wrong in today’s society. You people can just never be satisfied with having your own flag and letting others enjoy theirs! MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!

Arena Break Out has shields. But I do want Arena Break Out out of the Team Arena playlist. But I do not want a stand alone CTF playlist, as it would split the population.

the team arena breakout has shields i think unlike regular breakout and you get two nades.

Thanks for all your thoughts guys, sorry I haven’t been able to respond - I have had my hands full with things. I agree with everything everyone has said though, perhaps we could report these things to 343 Industries and try and gather as many people as possible for a poll/petition type forum. What does everyone think?
