Is the arena bundle worth the $25? I want opinions before I actually put money into this game…
If you still have a lot of uncommons to unlock its not worth it, if you uncommons done its worth it and even more if you finished rares
So they r completely random permanent unlocks in there?
Yes. Ranging from the worst to the best
no I wouldn’t even both forking out money for the randomized cosmetics you get.
It all depends on how much money you have/make, and where you are at in the process of the REQ system for permanents.
Each pack has 3 permanents, ranging from Uncommon to Legnedary, with supposedly a better chance at those higher reqs.
If you’ve unlocked all Silvers, it’s baller. I’m guaranteed 6 Ultra Rare-Legendary unlocks each week. It’s alot cheaper than gold packs in the long run (although you don’t get the chance for weapons/vehicles obviously).
However, you could also just play the game and use in game currency.
I don’t like micro transactions on a philosophical level, but I’ve given in from time to time because I am a young professional with disposable income. I don’t really buy silvers (ever) or golds (just a few). But I was HIGH one night and just said ‘-Yoink- it’. No ragrets.
BUT If you are a poor college kid or something, save it for textbooks, beer, or taking a chick out to dinner and just play the game.

Kind of thought the same thing, if there was some cool exclusive stuff by buying them, I would ponder getting this, but if it’s no different than just getting a gold pack then ya, why bother? I’m not into buying this extra crap anyways, but I think 60 is still a lil too much for a game…
I feel like I’ve accomplished something by playing my way up to 10k req points and getting a gold pack, ya know?

That’s the way to go my friend. Don’t give into the temptation.
(Although again, money isn’t tight and I have no regrets. I can agree it is silly paying for something you can unlock just by grinding).
Unless you reallllly want the Mark V Alpha, it’s guaranteed on the first pack you open.
It really depends.
If you still have stuff to unlock from Silver packs then don’t buy it. When you put your money into the bundle you want to unlock only ultra rares to legendaries.
Each premium pack gives you 3 permanent unlocks as opposed to 2 from a standard gold pack. You get two premium packs per week which is pretty much like 3 gold packs.
But unlike standard gold packs, each arena pack contains 3 cosmetic items and a bunch of arena boosts. You get nothing beneficial to you for warzone.
The bundle itself is a MUCH better deal than the other standard gold pack bundles, especially since the majority of possible unlocks in the collection are cosmetic anyways, but it depends on if you want to spend that much money on the game.
If you really like Halo, if you’re an active player of the game, if 25$ isn’t a lot of money for you, and you want to support the developers then you might want to get it.
But, again, ONLY IF you’ve finished all of your Silver packs and have only ultra rares and legendaries left.
It’s never worth it.
You’re giving yourself less to work for when you level up, which means when you start hitting the higher levels you’ll already have a ton of stuff. The game will become boring quicker with less to unlock for your Spartan. Also you’re contributing to the “success” of these restricting microtransactions. If you’re ok with future Halos having customization locked behind silly randomized REQ packs then go ahead I guess.
Not worth it unless you have money to waste
I’d say it was.

Im having a hard time buying that kind of stuff, especially after the way mcc is/was being handled… Makes me not want to put money into halo anymore, was only gonna buy it if there was an overwhelming amount of people saying yes it’s gods gift to earth… but it doesn’t seem that way…

If you needed to be convinced by others to buy it, then you probably shouldn’t buy it.
I bought it because I wanted to give 343 more money. The fact that I don’t have all of my silvers done doesn’t matter to me, because either way I’m unlocking something so it can’t hurt my progression in the collection.
No its not not at all even if you do still have stuff to unlock you only get arena boosts

That was the point of it and EXACTLY how it was marketed. The ARENA bundle gives you cosmetic unlocks and REQs to use in ARENA
