Arena "boosts" giving 150RP, can sell for 100...

I don’t know why this has to be brought up 6 months later, but Arena XP/RP boosts in this game are still a complete joke.

These need a dramatic increase to be halfway useful. Please give us more rewards/incentives to play this game, other than grinding 120,000XP levels to get a new emblem I don’t want and poop REQs I sell immediately.

In Arena a match can last 5 minutes and you don’t use any req’s.If you get 600 req points a game and each game is 5 minutes long then you will be getting 3600 points every half hour. This is without any boosts. That’s more than a game of warzone. It’s pretty fair.

I can play 4-5 games of warzone assault in a half hour, getting 5000-6000 rp, and that is also not using any boosts or using any reqs (only use loadout weapons). So there is definitely something wrong with arena. This whole argument of saying it is fair is just not right.

Not to mention arena players need armor and skins instead of req weapons so arguably they need to go through more packs to get useful things than a warzone player so they should at least be getting the same RP.

Well, it is always better to use the Arena REQ boosts, instead of selling them. Of course, 150 RP is nothing and especially the Arena RP reward ist just too low.

Warzone gives slightly more because it’s where you get reqs, it’s around 1800(Arena) to 2000(Warzone), best modes to farm are swat or Warzone assault(make sure matches are short)

When you’ve got 250 emblems to burn through, and 120,000xp+ per level (and hundreds of thousands at the higher levels) it would be nice if your “boost” gave you a halfway decent BOOST. Call me crazy!

The people still playing this game are grinding to fully complete their REQs, or reach SR152. Heaven forbid you slightly reward their efforts OCCASIONALLY. There is absolutely nothing wrong with rewarding players for playing your game, and giving people SOME incentive to keep grinding. (Which is where H5 fails miserably IMHO)

I don’t care about your calculations, a super duper rare “boost” giving 750XP or RP is a JOKE.

Halo 5 was never intended to be “completed” in a year, correct me if I’m wrong but I believe 343 said that they expect Halo 5 to last 3-4 years, just like Reach which also had a -Yoink- load of ranks to go through. Besides, Guardians have been out for how long? 7 months.

Your average game is 10 mins. How are you playing 40 mins worth of games in 30 mins? Maybe you play that many in a hour and get that much RP but then that is still the same as grinding arena games

How in the hell can you defend a “boost” being worth 50 points more than it could be sold for? 1/25th of a worthless Bronze Pack is what that “boost” got you…

I mean, this isn’t even a debate. It’s like getting a coupon for 2 pennies off your Pizza.

If people were actually ranking up, and unlocking cool items they might play more. I still don’t have the Mark IV helmet from the FIRST “free” update. Still no H2 BR… Which is why these updates are 1000% worthless to me. And I’m not about to get stomped by full squads in WZ all day just to rank up or earn any significant amounts of RP.

Average game ends 6:26, with shorter ones if you are on offense. Playing in a full fireteam you can average 3-4 minute games as attackers.

I completely agree. I see that WZ should give more RP by default - since that is what a majority of reqs are for - but the boosts are a big problem. Why should an ultra rare rp boost in arena give me 200 while one in WZ gives me 2000? The least they could do to make me happy would give us more of a reason to play arena. I know they want people to play WZ so they are persuaded to buy Req Packs but what if Arena gave players more XP while WZ gave players more RP? It would be a trade-off both ways.

I looked at two pages of your games. You have half of them around 11-13 and the. Scattered the rest between 6-10 mins. Your avg game is not 4-5 in 30 mins. It’s just not. This is not a bash but don’t go throwing inaccurate facts out there and confuse the community.
