Arena and Warzone switched places...

It used to be that Warzone was the one where you would plop your -Yoink- down after the day’s events and just put holes in various objects, and arena was for the days when you wanted to win.

Now, I feel like Warzone is ultra-hardcore with the spawn-killing (not just referring to farming, mind you.), and the super-powerful weapons that you have to grind to get. You see, I don’t have that many REQ cards that are worth a damn, so when an Oni Gauss Hog enters the field on the other side of the field, I get to have as much fun as I can in the spawn screen until it dies.

In Arena, there is guns. You have them. Walk around and find things to use guns on. Die. Pop up in a safe area. Do all that again. Brainless, stupid, and fun.

My friend and I have talked lately about getting older and stuff. Destiny (with it’s several hundred different kinds of currency) and some other newer games just seem too complicated for me anymore.

This is what, thread #461 on this subject?

I agree with you. Except for the fact that matchmaking is terrible and I’m consistently being matched against much stronger teams. For example, yesterday I was the only platinum in a team with three other golds and we were pitched against a team with one diamond, two platinums and one gold. It went 50×13 for the stronger team. In other occasion I was in a team with four platinums, but the opposition had two onyxes and two diamonds. Can’t remember how it ended, but I’m sure it wasn’t pretty.
