Arena multiplayer is just an other word for “ranked playlists” or the overall Halo 5’s multiplayer will be a completely different gameplay from the arena?
Arena is a sub category of multiplayer in Halo. In other games, the whole experience can be Arena, but Halo has more to offer than small maps and equal balanced gameplay.
Multiplayer is just a broad term for online play with other people across the world.

Arena is part of the multiplayer. As far as I know there is no info on what “the larger MP experiences” are.
From what I have noticed Arena is a different type of multiplayer playlist. NO RESPAWNS. Its a much different experience compared to the other playlists. This is actually a playlist I will avoid. So maybe there will be something like Arena, BTB, team slayer, rumble pit, and playlists like that.

No respawns is a new gametype called breakout.

the no respawns are only in the breakout mode, where you have a single life every turn

Arena multiplayer is a style of gameplay where all players start off with the same equipment and traits, and any sort of advantage comes from the map i.e, Power Weapons.
