Area Problems and suggestions

Halo 5’s multiplayer experience is great but has some issues. Having logged a little over one hour in area a few issues made themselves known almost immediately.

  1. Spawns. Some are great, safe and with a teammate. Others, however are troubling at times, spawning near approaching enemies and in direct line of sight in some cases. (Smaller maps often have these issues)
  2. Arena player disconnects. (mainly concerning server side issues) I had maybe three games where I had team members quit or have involuntary been disconnected. This really puts a strain on the short handed team often leading to a loss and a very unpleasant experience.

Suggestions for fix

  • Spawn algorithm might need to be tweaked to better analyze enemy movement possibilities and field of vision for safer spawning. - Allowing players who have been involuntary disconnected to rejoin match or allowing a forfeit/mercy rule system. 4v4: all is good. 3v4: If short team is being dominated by an X amount of point in a game should be offered up a mercy rule. Players on the losing team can accept or deny offer. 2v4: Game offers mercy rule regardless of points.(winning team will not receive offer to prevent an easy win.) 1v4: Game automatically applies mercy rule.Just my two cents. This will be updated as I find issues. Please feel free to comment and offer up your own suggestions.

I play and save up my req. points usually until I get 50k to 75k then have a nice splurge buying req. packs. When I’m done I can’t remember everything I just bought or unlocked. I would like to see a recently unlocked or purchased section.
