I want to know a little more of it. Overall that area seemed very nice and chill. But I’ve heard several rumors about it. That it was made entirely out of forge pieces (I wish), or that there is a door leading in there and that there’s a big open world out there.
But who said these things, and what has been confirmed? If anyone can give me some more info on that place it would be greatly appreciated. 
It looks like a map made by 343 but if thats a forge map then forge has taken one big leap forward.

So the arena part is not entirely made out of forge objects?

it seems to me that that is a “house” on the big forge world. they probably put that there so people have an arena to work with when they make a competetive map

Ah I see. Much like the colosseum in Reach. I have no idea how to spell that…
I think it’s one of the 3 forge maps.

Did you see dem windows and other pieces. I can’t wait to see what others will make if that is 100% forge pieces.
I hope it’s a new forge map becuase this is a new environment and 343 said that each map will have a diffrent terrian if not then an arnea in one of the maps would be nice to hve agian.

It’s a new forge map, and there’s a whole lot more of the map outside. Now whether that was built entirely with forge pieces, or if it something akin to Reach’s colosseum is another question. It looked like at least some of it was forged.
I want DLC courts that cost $. They could make some funky courts i bet.
It is a forge map. It is a court specifically built for Grifball. It’s called Grifball Court. Look up in the top-left corner of this video at 51:46 (the pasting is being very stubborn, so I can’t paste it at that specific time) and about 2 seconds after you start it at that time, you can see for a split second that it says Grifball on Grifball Court. I seriously doubt they would build a stock map that is only used for Grifball. Bungie didn’t in 3 or Reach. I can’t see 343 doing it. Which means it had to be forged, like the courts in Reach.
PS: If someone could fix the stupid link so it starts at the correct time, it would be appreciated. Every time I click “Copy URL at current time”, it won’t copy for some reason. Sorry.
EDIT: I just checked the video time again and it actually appears at 51:52 but back it up a couple seconds and stare at the top-left corner or you’ll probably miss it.
It looks like that map is UNSC themed.
So, Ravine is Forerunner themed.
[Grifball Map] is mostly UNSC themed.
That means the last map will be Covenant themed?
I’m hoping it was made in forge.

We built the Grifball court on one of the three Halo 4 Forge environments (hint: not Ravine). We’ll show you what’s on the other side of those walls sometime before launch.

Sweet, I can’t wait to see the map. The Grifball Arena portion looked amazing.
