So a few weeks ago I posted a thread asking if people were worried about the outcome of Halo 4. The majority voted for not being worried at all and fully trusting 343i. Now, however, with this new information from GI that seems to be stirring up some heated discussion, I am wondering if this opinion has changed. So I will ask again: are you worried for the outcome of Halo 4?
Nope. bring it on.
Most people aren’t worried, we just have to be patient and see what 343i does with Halo4 and see how much information they want to release.
I am not worried.
Campaign, nope. Multiplayer, yes.
Only time will tell how it turn’s out but right now i’m very disappointed (was furious at first with the leaks) and my faith at this point in time is nonexistent. Right now i can safely say i will not be buying the game but would be renting it instead just to experience the campaign.
that may change, all depends on what info/vid’s/trailer’s i see over the next few months.
Not in the slightest.
I’m very worried. However, I’m slowly coming around to a “wait and see” approach. If it truly turns into a Reach 2, then this will flop. If they can correct the mistakes of Reach… then we’ll see.
Not one bit, I read every article in Gameinformer and for those that didn’t bother. Its said after we played the newer stuff we jumped in the old fashioned team slayer. DUHHHHH people its right there. Now even with that we still have to wait for 343 to show us gameplay that isnt 10sec long.
I’m not worried about the outcome because 343 isn’t out to just make money. They want to create the best Halo game ever. So when I look at Halo 3, ODST and Reach, I know for a fact 343 will do a much better job. =]
NOT AT ALL
Totally worried. You’d basically have to be an idiot not to be worried at this point
I ain’t worried.
I was worried it was gonna be a terrible halo 2 clone tryhard -Yoink!- at first, but after the GI infos im much less concerned.
The more I see these new Halo devs tell me, “Don’t worry, it still FEELS like Halo.” the more worried I get. I don’t think these guys have any concept of what a Halo game feels like. They think they do, so they are dangerous. Sprint is a default mechanic, and now instant respawn, and god knows what else, yet I’m being hammered with “it still feels like Halo”.
No, it doesn’t.
The FEELS like Halo is a lie.
The last time I felt good about a new Halo game was when I played the Halo3 beta. That still felt like Halo. It wasn’t as good as Halo2, but it still felt like Halo. Those days are over.
Maybe just a little bit. But I know that I will buy it and that I will be damn happy to play it.
“As you rank up, you’ll unlock abilities. You gain spartan points, which you can use to purchase items to put in your loadouts. You can construct these loadouts around your preffered playstyle. Players slowly unlock an array of weapons, armor abilities and modifications for a soldier to bring to battle. The resulting loadouts are like your own customized class, and you can switch between these loadouts at any respawn in the heat of battle.”
That right there means the end of halo for me. Of course I’m worried. They are ruining the best multiplayer game of all time for xbox. Hey 343 did we have spartan points in H3? Or loadouts? Or unlock weapons? Armor Abilities? No. Halo is about all players being equal and finding power weapons on the map to change the game. If I rank up and have a better BR because I’ve played the game more that ruins the balance that Halo is. If I can change my loadout I’ve changed the game. Stop classes, loadouts, weapon unlocks, and any other B.S that is going to ruin the Halo skill based system. Halo used to be, so balanced thats why it was the flagship for MLG it was competitive and relied on skill not what armor ability or gun you unlocked.
