So I have never really gotten into customs in Halo. Mostly have always stuck to FFA, BTB, and action sack in just about all Halo titles. Have to admit I have been missing out. Played some customs recently and they were awesome. Played castle wars anniversary which was a super fiesta game type and it was a lot of fun. Played a FFA game last night can’t remember the name of it but it was fun as well. Definitely going to have to play more customs.
I look at the customs browser once I just don’t feel like playing competitive (the whole Halo 5 matchmaking lol).
So I always look for mini-games like the infinity one, or stuff that’s really interesting.
Yes it’s fun to host games and have a full room
recently i’ve been feeling tired and burnt out on social, arena and warzone multiplayer. so playing customs is really nice and relaxing for a change

I’m doing some customs (mostly for Timmy) lately, and mostly see the same things. Lots of “recruiting” games, lots of castle wars, speed Halo, tons of octagon (maybe 40% octagon when I look on).
I tried to set up a FFA game on Illadris and a game of Reaper and no one joined within 10 min. Luckily there were a few good games going like Outbreak City, Prop Hunt, and Don’t Breathe that I was able to get into. But I’m wondering how useful the Customs Browser is for certain types of games.
Only Customs that I’ve really participated are Comedy’s Custom Nights. Haven’t really done much with the Customs Browser (or just Customs and Forge in general) because I want to burn through my XP/RP boosts without having to sell them.
