Ninja Warrior 2011 is broken up into 3 stages.
Stage 1
Stage 2
Stage 3 pt. 1
Stage 3 pt. 2
Stage 1 begins with the Shield Bounce, where you bounce back and forth across the doors to the landing platform on the other side. After the Shield Bounce you continue on to the Soccer Balls. Just get a good running start and jump as far as you can and keep your momentum up. The third obstacle is the Overhead Hang. Launch off the gravity lift to get a good grip on the ceiling and keep your speed up. The Jumping Spider is one of the first real challenges in the course. Ninjas must use the trampoline to get inbetween the walls and continue jumping your way through. Next up is the Slippery Dish. Use the angle of the dish to slide across the length of it and into the gravity lift on the other side to launch you to safety. After that is the Warped Wall, the infamous quarter pipe of time consumption. Crouch jump your way up and over and you’ll be 1 step away from Stage 2. The final Stage 1 obstacle is the Ascender. Make sure you have enough upward lift and forward momentum, otherwise it’s a long slide down back to the beginning.
Stage 2 is where we start to see a few more of the difficult challenges.
Kick it off with a Slide Jump and you’ll be on your way to the second obstacle, a fan favorite. The Salmon ladder is a ruthless Ninja Killer, designed to chew them up, with the transition half-way up posing a huge risk. The Crouch Tunnel is simple looking at first, but the challenge comes from the countdown timer. Don’t dawdle! The Cliffhanger requires that you keep your momentum up while making sure that you hug the grid hard enough (but not too hard) to arrive safely across.
The Pipe Slider is the bigger meaner brother to the Overhead Hang from Stage 1. Jump off the lift and navigate the turns to land on the small platform below. The platform links to the final Stage 2 Obstacle, the Golf Ball Roll. Walk on top of the Golf Ball as it rolls towards the bottom and don’t forget to jump!
If you’ve made it to Stage 3, you deserve a congratulations. But it’s not over yet. Stage 3 will challenge you both physically and mentally. Ghost Alley requires that you first board the Ghost, navigate the rocky waters (mind the landmines!), hit the jump and dismount in mid-air to land on the rocks below. From the rocks below, make your way around the base of the Guard Tower to the back door that someone conveniently left unlocked for you. Sneak your way through the spiraling hallways to the top, but don’t get spotted by any of the Guardians! This challenge will test your patience. From the top of the Guard Tower, you can see the final challenge. You must first balance on a small rail, slide down the railing then jump out over the water towards the Jet Pack hanging from a rope. Grab it in mid-air and activate it so you can navigate your way into the Spire of Victory. Use your Jet Pack abilities to climb all the way to the top and achieve Ultimate Victory!
Add your name to the list of Ninjas who have achieved Ultimate Victory today! Post a link to the video in your fileshare and you can become a 2011 Ninja Warrior!
