are you sure? if you continue, you will lose your saved progress

Hi,

I guess we all have learned the benefit and liability of the Grunt Funeral skull.

Nice if you can time it right, but they also take out grendades or weapons you might have wanted to pickup.

OK, my problem is, I’m on phase 3 of Truth and Reconsiliation and I need grenades or plasma pistols and the darn grunts are exploding (slower than other levels it seems), and taking my much needed weapons.

I went to turn the skull off, and I get the message in the subject line.

Just what all do I lose if I chose to turn a skull off in the middle of a mission? I’m playing Legendary Solo, so I really hate to have to start from the beginning again if I can avoid it.

thanks in advance…

Ben Decho

You will loose your whole mission progress, you can’t disable skulls mid-level mid-game.

Why do you need grenades when you’ve got the Grunt Funeral skull on? Killing a Grunt is like arming a bomb more or less. Light fuse and run away.

Also the weapons they’re holding shouldn’t dissappear. They never do for me at least.

But, yes, turning a skull off would force you to restart the mission again. Just talking from experience here.

When this happens it is best comrade to take some Vodka from the flask and chug some down then look around. Plus you can not change skulls mid level.

You know. In America you chug some Vodka down. In Soviet Russia Vodka chugs you down :frowning:

you are right comrade! In soviet Halo game plays you!

I was, in fact, doing your advice when posting this…

Great minds think alike.

I’m not sure, but when the grunts blow up, so goes their grenades and I can’t find any plasma pistols laying around, even from the ones that the jackles were carrying if the grunts take them out too. Maybe mine is Legendary^2 or something… LOL

I agree, that if you can time it properly, the grunts exploding can help alot, but with the Elites running rogue in this small room, trying to ooordinate a grunt blowing up with doors opening behind you, Elites coming from everywhere, is tough.

If you cannot find the Plasma Pistols any Jackels or Grunts were carrying chances are the weapon only blew a few feet away. Just check the surrounding area.

As for the Elites: Plasma Rifle the hell out of them until their shields go and the switch to your Magnum for a quick headshot. The Elites will never know they’re dead.
