I’m done. I’ve given up trying to understand what 343 is doing to this game.
Ghosts of Meridian is now officially the worst update so far. Why is that, you ask? Oh boy well let me tell you.
343, are you seriously going to headline this update with a Mark V Alpha RESKIN?! Are you kidding me? I would even let the Dynast armor slide by, but in my opinion, it just looks absolutely hideous. Seriously, it just looks so… ugly. On top of that, you are going to add 2 more variants of it?
Speaking of variants, there’s not even a lot of them in this update either. I can’t even get excited about the Hannibal mantis, because it’s just such a pathetic vehicle, and sooo easy to destroy/board. Also, a Hannibal tank? What is it supposed to do differently than all the other tanks? From what we saw from the trailer, the Hannibal variant is focused around Gauss weapons, even thought the tank pretty much already operates like one. Like, bruh.
The only thing that has me somewhat excited are the Hammer variants, but even with those, how are you supposed to make a hammer behave differently? It gives you a permanent speed boost or something? Whoopie. I guess the suppressor variants will be somewhat interesting.
Also, that “new map” has to be just the Warzone Assault variant to Skirmish at Darkstar.
The point is that this update is just, so, bare. There’s nothing here! This update will get stale the day after it releases.

Coming in with a quick update because I’m absolutely sick of seeing these ridiculous posts over and over again.
1.) THIS IS ALL THAT WE ARE GETTING!!!
To the people who keep on saying “Oh it’s just a preview this isn’t everything eagdbdslbmflkhdm.”
Um. YES, it IS. That is the point of the REQ reveal people, it shows everything we are getting! Besides a few UI changes and new forge objects. This update comes out in just over a week, OPEN YOUR EYES PEOPLE.
THIS. IS. EVERYTHING.
2.) Yes, this DLC is free, but it’s like getting a hamburger without the Buns, and they say, “Oh, you wanted BUNS with your Hamburger? How entitled. But hey, because we are such nice people, we will give you the buns for free!”
NO. This isn’t how this works. This “FREE DLC” that we are getting is them just finishing the game! No -Yoink- these DLC’s are free, if they charged people for Forge, Forge Maps, a bunch of REMIXES, and gamemodes that have been in nearly every other Halo game AT LAUNCH, this game would be dead on release.

343 releasing disappointing bare bones content? Well colour me surprised.
Seriously though, I’m not really sure how people can still play this. I got bored around Christmas, briefly popped back in to check out Grifball and Assault, and haven’t played since. The game is just so repetitive and lacking in variety and “fun”.

Sorry buddy, but it’s now been close to half a year since Halo 5 launched, and it’s still has less than half of the amount of content as other Halo games.
And to top it off, they give us another absolutely useless REQ dump. At least Infinity’s Armory’s REQ dump had more meat to it, this is just… sad.
Seriously, what are they doing? At this point in time they should be trying to give us as much content as possible with each update the way the population is going, but yet, here we are, and we aren’t getting a single new experience. It’s just sad man.

Open your goddamned eyes! They had to delay this update for absolutely nothing worthwhile. Sure, they have a new Warzone map, but that’s all there is; everything else is variations of things we have. There aren’t even new game-modes.
I used to be a 343 defender, but the further we go into the following months, the more bitter I grow of Halo 5. Great game, just awful post-launch support.

It makes me so damn frustrated. Like, everybody knows how lacking in content this game is, they even know it themselves, but yet they are still trickling down content drip by drip. Just. Why.

I bet the only other thing that’s in here is UI changes. Whoopie. Possibly a few new forge objects.
You think they’re going to add a file browser or something this update? Be real.

Sorry buddy, but a bunch of slayer variants, a few objective modes, and only a handful of maps (not counting forge maps or remixes) is not a lot of content.
I suppose if you have no idea what the hannibal wehicles are good for, maybe you should have read the update and seen that they look BEASTLY.
Same goes with saying that the hammer variants cant be too different. If someone told you 'Halo 5 is going to have different variants of the plasma pistol" before you saw them, im sure one of the last things you would think of is your plasma pistol creating a black hole. At least let the update come out first man
