Are you or Have You Ever Been Stuck at SR70?

I still see a ridiculous amount of players stuck at SR70. Yes, this includes me.

I played before the 20th and live in the USA and I didn’t get an email. That’s not what matters. What matters is that this was the system in place to begin with.

Just asking people to sign here if they ever were level locked at SR70. It’s a lonely feeling, and maybe if we get enough support we can get an official statement on when they will righteously release the ranks to everyone!

343 doesn’t understand, from what I can tell, how poorly this sytem was set up. They are losing players and money. Mt dew and Doritos also are suffering from this as people won’t buy their double xp promotion if they have already achieved max rank.

Granny Smasher - SR 70 - Perhaps Forever

I am level 68 and I fear to get capped, correct me if im wrong but 343 will be sending codes this week to the xbox 360 dashboard to those who didnt recieve the code for some reason.

im SR68 and will probobly be capped soon if I keep playing. 343 isnt going to send me the code because “im underaged”… oh well, I need a braek from Halo anyway, gives me time to experience other games.

Im stuck at SR70. I got Sr70 Nov. 30 plaining it out prefectly (in my mind) that I’d get the Spec code the next day. All my halo 4 friends got the code but me and are all 80-90 ish while Im still stuck at 70. It really sucks.

Your parent’s email should get the code.

Join the crowd… I didnt get a code either. Figures.

Been SR70 for almost 3 weeks now. Already wasted 100k EXP from commendations/challenges(more from commendations).

I could care less about my loss XP, I could care less about being SR70 for a couple weeks, but I am absolutely ASHAMED for the lack of SUPPORT from 343. I want my code and I want 343 to COMMUNICATE with us for once. There is ONLY 1 person who is talking to us and they have NO IDEA what they are talking about half the time.

I am just sick and tired of these trash companies thinking they can get away without talking to their consumers.

i live really close to their studio here in WA, about 30 mmin away, yet im never gonna get the code cause i set up my Live account 3 months after moving here with my irish email account a year ago. bashing them wont help, im lvl 70 and im just gonna keep playing, does it really matter if you dont get the code?

Lol check and see if they’re actually in their studio.

yup, but they’re watching cat videos

Even after receiving and redeeming the email code, I still have no other specializations available after SR70. But I agree, this isn’t about the email code, it’s about having an incomplete system in the initial release of the game. This kind of halfassery is entirely unprofessional.
Same thing with the kill cam… why was Halo 4 released with such a faulty system? What was 343 thinking? People that see the inaccurate kill cams are either going to think that the kill cam is laggy, or the game is unfairly laggy and the kill cam is correct. Either way, it looks very bad for 343.

Halo 4 is fun, yes, but it should not have been released with so many incomplete aspects. Fix your -Yoink-, 343.

No offense to any of you, but you did not purchase the Limited Edition, so it is kind of on you for being capped, HOWEVER, I was kind of annoyed that 343 would do a promotion and let Microsoft handle the distribution of the codes. They should have know that Microsoft would screw up.

It’s partially 343 and partially Microsofts fault for screwing up the promotion.

However, you are still a fault for not buying the LE. No offense

Inaccurate kill-cams are to be expected in an online game like Halo.
In online games, your client doesn’t have a perfect view of what’s going on in the game world, due to latency. Your machine simulates what’s going on, based on infrequent network updates. The quality of this simulation will vary based on network conditions (your connection to the other players, and their connection to you).

Modern games, Halo included, try to hide this by simulating things on your local machine. “The last time we received a network update, this guy was in this location, running in this direction, with this speed, so until I hear otherwise, I’ll just draw him running towards where I think he’ll be by the next update”.

You can actually see this happen when you’ve got a really bad connection by the way, it’s why you’ll see players run in a straight line, and then suddenly teleport when your machine receives a network update telling your machine “actually, no, this guy is over here”.

The solution to this problem is to give everyone ultrafast internet connections, or ideally to invent superluminal communication. Neither of which are under 343’s control.

I posted a topic about this very thing and a they came along and moderated it…

Seriously 343/Microsoft you really messed up bad with the specializations release. EVERYONE PAID FOR THE GAME. There is no acceptable reason for all levels and all addition un-lockables to not be included in every single copy of the game you released. None. Period.

Bad idea, don’t do it again, release a community update for everyone accessing halo 4 so they can simply download the specializations with no future BS OR CODE (this would fix and make up for the problems of your very bad idea), and we can all get back to shooting one another while not being stuck at stupid level 70 because of someone or some groups really bad idea, yeah?

PS: I hope you fire the person who came up with the idea for that crap in the first place.

There is a reason Xbox 360 games aren’t $100. Not everyone can budget a game that expensive. It is snobby to say that people that bought a more expensive version of the game should receive the full game while standard edition owners get a type of demo. I appreciate your “no offense” though haha.
