So I don’t know Johns last name but what if you are his ancestor.Lets just say in the future(were halo begins) is actually real.And it was destiny for us to be in halo(even though we will be dead)at least our younger ones.Maybe you might not have John`s last name but what if your younger ones marry the person with his last name.Look at him he is epic.And if he can save the world from a superweapon you could probably do something similar.So the question still remains are you his ancestor?

Even if someone were to be his ancestor it would have absolutely no impact on their lives. One of my descendants could be the next genocidal dictator but that isn’t going to change my life at all, nor do I have any aspirations of becoming a genocidal dictator myself.
