Not really. The player base is mostly male. Gamers are mostly male, and you’re choosing to see malice that wasn’t really there. I’m making fun of the fact that a male product is being associated with a female product. The whole thing seems like a joke, like that Seth Rogan TV show that just got rated the worst TV show ever made.

The problem is you are so twisted in your thinking, you can’t see how wrong this is.
Gaming and even Halo’s market is far more then male… The gaming market is actually pretty balanced, and depending on the study has even shown to be mostly women.
So simply by being so immature about advertising that is directed at more feminine product is concerning. I know plenty of women gamers, that also play halo, that are all excited about the promotion… I would consider that a win.
I mean just think about it. If there was no value, and no market for “women”… why did the even bother to make this promotion…

But let me correct you on that. Yes the player base is mostly male, sure. But lately the rise in female gamers has been quite present if you’ve bothered doing research on the subject.
The whole thing isn’t a joke, it’s called marketing which looks like you hardly know a damn thing about it.

You should really do yourself a favor and get yourself acquainted with modern gaming demographics. The % of ALL people (not just males) under the age of 25 who play games is at like 65-70% anymore. The days of gaming being a “guy’s only” hobby are long gone
