I don’t know about the rest of all if you but I am really excited to get my hands on the infinite beta! I can’t wait to finally play the game even if it’s for a small amount of time.
But I was wondering what everyones thoughts are for the weekend.
I think it’s going to be a blast. I didn’t get into the first flight myself, so it’ll be awesome to play with the bots for the first time. (Not to mention finally getting a taste of brand-new Halo after 6 years!)

If you’re on console, they’ll most likely be distributing it through the Xbox Insider Hub application, though I have yet to confirm this personally. I’m not sure about PC, I didn’t bother registering mine. (It isn’t up to spec, y’know.)
I’m definitely excited. I don’t even know how long I’ll get to play it, since I’ve got extra work this work, but even if it’s just for a little bit it’ll be awesome. This looks like the best (in my opinion) Halo game in years.

I’ve done flights up till Season 7 MCC but didn’t get any invites after that for some reason…feelsbadman I was really looking forward to this one…

No, I’m serious. The emails are still rolling out, and you’re eligible. You will be invited, or 343 stating that “all” insiders registered before the 13th will get to attend was totally bogus.
I thought it was going to be big team battle this weekend 
but I am hyped that we get two flights in two weeks.
I’m not going to play it much as have a 3 week old baby, but I’m very excited to see how PVP handles. Think it will be a lot of fun. The hype is still very much there even if most of the enjoyment I get out of it will be watching gameplay and clips of others.
Also have a stag (bachelor party) and music gig this weekend so I’m really, really not going to have much time for this one, probably better the Big Team flight is next weekend.
I was part of the previous flight, I am definitely looking forward to this one !!
Actually I’m disappointed. The time frames on the weekend are going to make it tough to play much if at all. Work and life. I can’t set around all day to play just for a few hours. I really wish it would stay open all weekend. I get that this is for testing and not for me though. Just makes me sad. I’ve been so excited for this for so long.

Unfortunately, I might not get my hands on the beta, even IF I get the invite and email. I traded my Xbox One X to one of my buddies for a bit in exchange for his PS4, and he said he’d return it early, but probably won’t be able to this weekend. Might try playing it on the OG Xbox One, but it’ll run like dog water, lmao

I can’t wait either man! It’ll be my first time playing some Halo Infinite and my hype levels are nearing 6th grade Halo 3 levels lol. I know people are upset about the limited times to play, and I definitely would prefer it to be open all the time, but I kind of dig it not just because it’s obviously going to help them on the back end more when EVERYONE that got in is trying to jump in at the same time (Would much rather have the issues this weekend and next vs Dec. 8th) and I don’t want to play the game so much that I burn myself out on the few maps that it offers. It’s the same reason I never play any beta for too long, but I realize that’s more of a personal preference.
Definitely most excited about seeing how the tweaks to the BTB sandbox pan out. Especially the who dynamic delivery of heavy vehicles on the maps. If done right, this should decrease the cases where the midpart of some maps turns into a ghost towns since everybody in both teams just stay in their bases.
Also love the idea behind the Shock Rifle so I can’t wait to try it out and see how many opportunities you’ll have to arc single shots between enemies (apparently the Shock Rifle shot can be arced from the CTF flag).
Got an email invite for the 23rd to the 26 yet I haven’t received download instructions as of the 22nd. Have I missed something?
