Halo5 gameplay. Are you satisfied with the gameplay?
If not please state your reason and discuss. What would you like to see in H5?
I personally don’t like sprint.
-Sprint will make the game too much running and gunning. Taking away competitive gameplay and turning it into a running around fast paced “saw you first kill” game. Especially with asymmetrical maps that 343 loves to make.
What I would like!
-A proper Ranking System for the players, so we have a reason to continue and win. Unlocking pretty armour for stacking up hours rather than wins will not be fun in the long run.
Oh and I am truly grateful loadouts and perks are gone.
Thank you. Have a nice day!
What I’m most looking forward to is seeing what we can do when you chain these new abilities together. If Rocket Jumping in TF2 has taught me anything, Going fast and moving across the map is just as important as shooting a gun. And I want to see what I can do with Halo.

Sprint - it will make the game a run and die game, and people will learn there lessons quick. It is meant to get the the actions quick, and fight more than anything else.
Maps:
I’ve never been a Midship fan.
Empire doesn’t impress me that much either. But it looks okay.
Crossfire is obviously designed solely for Breakout and is going to suck for anything else.
The unnamed map seems similar to Derelict somewhat, could be good.
Some of Halo’s best maps were Asymmetrical, I can’t really fault 343I for making Asyms.
Gameplay:
The gunplay itself looks like it will be fast paced and skillfull. This is good.
Thruster still needs some tweaks.
There’s a lot of pointless crap I don’t like, such as Stabilizers.
Sprint isn’t going away. Best we can hope for is something like Murder Miners where it’s barely significant.
Gametypes:
Sorry, I just can’t get behind the Breakout craze. From what I’ve seen it’s just a bunch of pointless running to the center of the map, spraying down as many people as possible, and dying. If we were going to have an elimination gametype, I’d prefer something like Freeze Tag from Quake Live. Would at the very least promote more teamwork.
Honestly, I don’t care as much about multiplayer as I do campaign. I’m more concerned if the campaign is fun and the story/characters are good. That being said, I do not think it’s CoD. In fact, I think it strikes a perfect balance between keeping the core elements in play while adding new stuff.

They’ve given out details on the ranking system. It’s being designed by the guy who did the Starcraft 2 ranking system, which is a good reputation if I ever saw one. Basically, there are seven tiers, five normal, called something like bronze to diamond (that kind of scale, no finalised names), one semi-pro, and one pro. There will be ranks within each division, as well. Hope that helped.
Lolno. Sprint ruined the whole reveal for me. I’ll play the beta since I bought the Master Chief Collection, but I’m not buying another sprint-based Halo again.

I would have to wholeheartedly disagree with you on that…

Empire doesn’t impress me either. It actually looks pretty bland. I actually like the symmetrical or semi symmetrical maps.
Thruster needs to go. Spartan Abilities like Clamber and Slide are okay. But Ground Pound, Charge and Stabilizer need to go. Stabilizer didn’t work in the Transformers series and it sure as heck won’t work in the Halo series. In fact, stabilivers are a bad idea for any multiplayer game…
And I have not yet seen this map that looks like derelict. Do you have a link?
When I first saw some of the snippets of Halo 5 I was honestly enraged which is something I have have never done. Halo 4 didn’t even do that… Mostly because I enjoy it. But after I saw the vidoc and full matches I realized that I had jumped to some ridiculous conclusion and in turn Halo 5 is now one of my most anticipated games of 2015… Right next to MHS5.

For some reason I can’t think of what MHS5 stands for…
