After months of players talking about how terrible the armor core system is and after months of 343 claiming to be listening and adjusting based on feedback, how are armor cores still the plan? The vast number of customization issues that cores cause and the overwhelming negative response to the cores from the very beginning should’ve resulted in changes to the system. Or at least plans to change it.
Armor cores do nothing but restrict the player’s customization which doesn’t make sense when the marketing spoke of deeper customization than ever before. I’m honestly dumbfounded that this hasn’t changed and there’s apparently no plans to change it based on what we’ve heard about the upcoming seasons.
I’ve been in 343’s corner and my hope for the future of Infinite has been really optimistic. But for a feature to be so universally hated and so blatantly obviously flawed at its core (pun intended), im struggling to reconcile the narrative of “we’re listening to feedback” with the projection provided of armor customization in the coming year.
Im genuinely starting to worry that Halo Infinite isn’t ever going to be what we thought it would be and what we were told to expect. I’m so incredibly disappointed.

I suspect they’re not going to talk about it untill they have a plan about it. If they’re going to change it, they may want to have an idea where to take it, and then plan how to implement it into the game, safely, without breaking something.
Most things don’t happen overnight.
I mean…this should have been the approach they took with the entire game, but it wasn’t, so why start now?
The at-start-of-development memo about it got to them now.
