Are you gonna get the Champions Bundle?

So I’m looking for people that are going to buy the Champions Bundle DLC because I might want to buy it too but I need to know how many people are going to buy it because it looks like one of the best DLC’s so far for Halo 4.

I really hope a lot of people are going to buy it because Vertigo and Pitfall look really awesome and I would love to play them and be able to play them all the tim!

I’ll certainly be buying it.
So much great content.
In my opinion, it’s one of the best DLC ever…
of all time!

Agree! Let’s hope a lot of people buy it so we can enjoy it for a longer time!

Yes. New armors, stances, weapon skins, armor skins, AAs, gametypes, and maps.

No.

Halo 4 is still kinda fun to me, but not fun enough that I play it as much as Reach or 3.

The DLC doesn’t appeal to me, as a result. I might go back on this and buy the bundles for the Mark V helmet and the new Armor Abilities, but I have no intention of getting the full bundle.

You do know that the Bundle Complete is cheaper than buying things seperate and you also get 2 awesome maps.

I am not getting it, first time i won’t be getting halo dlc.

Yes, it’s one of the best I’ve seen.

Most likely.

For sure, this one looks very cool.

Yeah, I’ll be getting it for sure! The bundle itself looks really great and worth the cost, and hopefully it’ll get me playing Halo 4 a bit more often again.

I cant vote yes or no. Factors effecting my decision:

  1. I cant find a game on Halo 4, what are the odds for finding a DLC match?
(A minority of the gamer population ends up buying DLC’s anyway…)

  2. This DLC is the best, the other three were <blam> compared to this one and now it seems to late to be wasting money on ‘multiplayer’ DLC which I wont touch after a week. <My main depressing factor…

  3. In all honesty, not just 343 but Gearbox and Epic games make ‘skins’ worth money. This is like saying pay $20 for an empty cardboard box to put your things in. The worth of ‘tiny’ DLC is just a real waste of money. $100+ for a game and an extra $200 for things that should be in the game from the start. <Real let down factor.

  4. Skins and armor and The Pitt are really cool, but its multiplayer. Life is not really spent as much online then actually making something you can do anytime. Maps are a big issue, why pay money for a ‘map?’

  5. New games are coming out, even with the minority of Halo 4’s population, how much more will it drop in the next month when COD DLC’s, GTAV and other neat stuff come out?

DLC for games seem like such a waste of money. You don’t gain a thing, you trade the game in, you don’t even have the stuff forever so its really a loss. You lose money.

I don’t want to spend $50 for 2hours of fun.
But again… I want skins and armor, something that should of been in the game from the start…

I sit on the fence, though this might be the first DLC in my beloved Halo history that I won’t buy…

EDIT: If it came out earlier, I would of instantly bought it, when the game was alive and kicking and it would have purpose of me ranking up or something…

I doubt it. I learned my lesson in Reach with the Anniversary map pack. Once they removed Anni BTB I never saw those maps again. RIP Anni BTB.

What its only £7.99 or $9.99 thats very cheap considering how much content is in the bundle. Also if you cant find a match it may be down to your connection since I find a game fairly quickly.

You mentioned new games coming out, you may as well buy some Microsoft points for the DLC for that game in advance and use 800 MS points on the bundle, this way you get the DLC and have some MS points ready for other DLC.

People are turned away with the worry of finding no matches this only makes the chances of finding DLC even worse.

Yup! can’t wait for it to come out. it’s gonna be sooooo awesome

The Champions Bundle is how I think DLC for Halo should be handled for now on, or at least similarly. A few new maps + customization content.

I highly doubt it. The DLC just seems like a ripoff to me.

Two of those armor sets should’ve been there at release, the other just looks kinda meh.

The Pit is one of my favorite maps of all time but putting Halo 4’s current system over it might ruin it for me. I’m not really interested in stances or emblems and skins so that part of it is pretty useless to me too.

Not to mention, the population of Halo 4 is pretty low probably meaning not many people are actually going to buy this so I’ll probably get to play it for about a month before 343 decides to Ricochet playlist.

They did it with Reach and they did the same thing with Halo 4. At this point why should ANYONE buy the future DLC?

I’m getting it its way cheaper then what other companies would have charge.

What other companies would have charged:
A skin pack-400
armor back-800
stance pack-400
map pack-800
bundle-maybe around 1600 to 2000

343 price
skin pack and stance-240
Armor pack- 240
map pack- 480
bundle-800

I call that a deal!

If I can be bothered to go to the bank and put money on my card, but judging my current state, I don’t know if it’ll the best thing to go do, it is a great deal though (I do like Prefect)
