Absolutely nothing worth mentioning was revealed, they tiptoed around almost every question, the new music sounds like friggin pokemon, and they hinted at the possibility of AAs. Not to mention that most of what was supposed to be the “Halo 4 panel” was about some other forms of Halo fiction thanks to the completely irrelevant questions asked by the Q&A section.
This should have been one of the Friday panels, because honestly, it was a gigantic letdown. I’m sure I’m not the only one who feels this way, considering we probably won’t even get any more info until E3 2012.
You can say what you want about me being “ungrateful,” but they hyped this up pretty heavily and then revealed absolutely nothing except a failed attempt at Halo’s music.

My oh my, you are one of the people I wasn’t expecting this from, let’s just say, you are being very ungrateful, they game doesn’t come out for 12+ months and you want everything and anything.
In all fairness, the game is over a year away from release. Did you really honestly expect them to come out with something big when the release date is so far away?

What an ungrateful man you’re being! I found out quite a lot actually, Stop whining! All Halo fiction from Halo: Cryptum to Halo: Glasslands all lead up to Halo 4, so yeah. They ARE relevant. You’re just being a whiny idiot who needs to grow up!
They confirmed that the “ancient evil” were the Forerunners.
They basically confirmed the UNSC having contact with the chief.
They basically confirmed some sort of Forge.
They confirmed the chief’s look is not done yet and that the reveal trailer was not going to be the final look of the chief.
Much, much more was revealed that will take some of us some time to decipher. I will admit that it could have been a bit better, but it was still worth watching.

So true. We got a lot of information from that. the game is a year away. What do you want? A massive 10 minute gameplay trailer. Hell maybe throw in the final cutscene of the game too?! We got a lot more information I thought we actually would have got.
