Well, today I thought I’d play some xbox with a friend, and we ended up playing Flood. There was this seriously weird glitch though…
Another SPARTAN (not flood) was an enemy. While I looked at him, my reticle was red and he had a red name, and as he was an enemy, I thought “ooohhh, free points.”, so I shot him and got a betrayal. So, there are 2 things wrong with that:
-
He was an enemy - no one is supposed be an enemy in Flood, except the opposing faction like the Flood was supposed to be the enemy at this time, not other survivors.
-
I got a betrayal - Friendly fire isn’t in Halo 4, and the only way to betrayal is to run your team over or something, but I shot this guy and got a betrayal.
So he was an enemy yet I got a betrayal upon killing him? Odd.
Anyway, later I was still playing Flood with this friend, and the same glitch occurred. I was at close quarters with the enemy and as soon as this enemy came from behind the corner, I shot him in the upper body with my shotgun, achieving an insta-kill. This wasn’t a usual Flood form enemy, it was another glitched player. I got a betrayal again from this glitch, and got booted from the game. This is really annoying.
So has anyone else experienced this glitch or wants to comment?
