With Halo I always bought it without a second thought . After loving the 1st so much and I got the 2 and 3 so on etc without even contemplating it . Of course I have enjoyed some more then others like Halo 3 more then Reach . But overall I can still say that I was atleast satisfied with the ones I didn’t like as much and one I disliked the most (ODST) . But Halo 4 I felt underwhelmed with . I wont state the same opinions why like everyone has done a 1000 + times. But Halo 5 I think I may actually wait this time instead of rushing out .Heck I may not even get it . But hey let’s not turn this into a negative thread.
My thread stands are you excited for Halo 5 and will you certainly buy it?
I will almost certainly buy it. As much as Halo 4 just doesn’t feel as much like Halo as I like, I’ll be curious to see how they take it from here. And hopefully they’ll learn lessons from Halo 4 and improve the likes of matchmaking and rethink spartan ops.
I always buy for the campaign first, so definitely.
I will buy it but I am more excited about Bungie’s next project at the moment.
Is there any indication for when Halo 5 will be released? I’d be significantly less compelled to buy it if they’re planning on releasing it this year, or in other words making Halo an annual release…

Frankie said years ago that they will never do an annual release. He also said a month after Halo 4 was done that they had been working on Halo 5 for a while. So possibly next year, best case. At most 2015.
I am still waiting for Halo 4…
Seriously i maybe buy it for the campaign and in a hope that the MM will be much better than this we have now.

Same here. I had my doubts about the campaign at first, but Halo 4 convinced me that 343i can pull it off. So yeah, I’m excited and I’ll buy Halo 5.

I see where you’re coming from, I was underwhelmed by Halo 4 as well, even the campaign. Everything was just changed in the ways it felt and played, didn’t bode well with me. Although the campaign was still good, it lacked in a lot of ways.
I heard 343i saying Halo 5 will be much darker, and this excites me. I hope this means that maybe we’ll see Precursors or some other unforeseen enemy. So, I will definitely buy Halo 5, unless it looks just terrible, which I doubt. However, I probably won’t get the limited edition and all that, and I’m not as excited in many ways after owning and playing Halo 4.
not really. Unfortunately Halo is no longer Halo so I’ll have to wait and see if it looks decent. If not then I’m done.
I’ll buy it before I buy Destiny but if it can’t match it with Destiny as a Sci-Fi shooter then it could spell trouble for Halo. I’m not a COD guy so won’t be going there though lol.
Do not say excited but worried that if you have a horrible multiplayer as the only Halo4 I’ll play the campaign!
I might pre-order Halo 5 for the skins and such.
But if it ends up sucking it’s going straight to Ebay.
If you were to ask if I was hyped about the game, meh. It might solve all the issues of Halo 4, it might not. Time will tell, not enough information at the moment, yadda yadda.
Am I excited? Not right now no.
Will I buy it? Not without having to properly test it first.
Not really. There’s not a lick of information or even a vague release date. Excitement will probably start later on.

Yeah, excitement doesn’t usually kick in until at least a month before a release date imo. Not to mention that we know absolutely nothing about Halo 5 just yet.
