Should it be permanent adding other weapons such as the Halo 5 BR, the carbine, DMR etc?
I think people are enjoying it. I haven’t personally played it but it just seems like way to play with the Halo 2 BR for a little while.
I’m enjoying it because the Halo 2 BR is better than the Halo 5 version in my opinion.
I like it, but a lot of sweaty try hards populate that playlist
It’s not bad, but its certainly nothing special. It plays like a marginally worse version of slayer, but for diversity’s sake it’s nice.
I think the normal br is more consistent as far as aiming, but it’s decent with it being 4v4 and no starting AR.
I enjoyed it from what I played but no I don’t see a need to make it permanent or any changes other than IF they ever do it again make it on the anniversary throwback maps.
I think it’s okay. I do think regular 4v4 slayer is a bit better. I also like covenant slayer quite a bit better.
Granted, I’m a softy for the carbine. It’s my favorite weapon in every Halo game (:
As mainly a solo player, this playlist has been fun. It’s when I run against a team of people, or a team with mics… Then it’s not so fun. But that’s really with any playlist.
Randoms with mics > randoms with no mics.
It’s awful and I pray we never see a playlist with BR starts in Halo 5 again unless they put Old School into matchmaking.
Only played one game and we won 50-10. Not sure what playlist MMR they’re using, but I’m guessing I haven’t played in that for awhile to get that kind of matchup.

That’s how it is in every rotated playlist. Oddball had some of the sweatiest matches iv played in h5

Nah, covie Slayer is waaaaayyyyy sweaty
Yes.
It’s a fun playlist but the aim assist the H2BR has just makes the maps play weird. Glad they kept the H5 BRs in there though and kind of surprised they didn’t have throwback Halo 2/3 Maps in Rotation for the Playlist. It would be awesome to see some Turf or Sanctuary.
I don’t want it permanent, I just think the H2BR should replace all BRs in Halo 5 as it looks and sounds so much better then the H5 br. At least replace them in ranked playlists.
The H5 Br doesn’t even feel or sound like a BR. I just hate it.

There isn’t any. Social playlists don’t have that on purpose.

Social uses MMR. It’s just a lot looser than ranked. Here is a recent post by Josh Menke which pretty much proves that MMR is in Social.
> Keep in mind that the way MMR is used in Social today is pretty much the same way it’s always been used, so again, I believe it’s a gameplay perception, not a skill-related one.
No, the halo 2 br is fine.
I honestly came back to Halo just because of this playlist, I’m going to grind it for awhile instead of CoD.
