After seeing a lot of recent reviews/impressions of the campaign from many different youtubers and other sources, I feel excited for what the campaign holds. That being said, are you guys buying the campaign, or buying game pass to test it out, or are you just sticking to multiplayer?

I’ve had GamePass for years, I’ll just play on there.
There’s no incentive to actually put down money to buy it - I’d just be missing cash.

I’ll probably never cancel gamepass so there is no real incentive to buy it outright rn but I am excited for December 8th

If I could afford it I would absolutely buy it but I can’t the only reason I’ll be able to play it at all is cause I get gamepass for free through Microsoft rewards

Honestly if not for having to get it with the console, I likely would have waited until they sorted out co-op, and I’ve always been a campaign guy for the franchise. The whole lack of co-op thing just really rubbed me the wrong way.
Also doesn’t help matters that 343i’s history with the Halo franchise up to this point has been defined by campaigns that require deep knowledge of the expanded U. With 4 and 5 that wasn’t an issue for me as I was current, this past year I haven’t really had a chance to play catchup so if Infinite is another repeat of this trend in gonna be just as lost as many were in 4 and 5.

I bought it because ive been really desperate to play something new, I have been playing the same few games for several months now,
I’m not expecting it, but it would be nice if they let you unlock the Master Chief armor by getting
Campaign. I mean IT IS on the cover after all, and you play him in the Campaign.
I’m awaiting some halo tubers to give feedback on if its fun at least. I have friends I do campaign with and we’re tolerant enough to take bad writing and joke about it into the sunset but still mess around and sabotage eachother while having fun. Of course I am bummed co-op is delayed compared to campaign release but eventually me and my buddies will be playing our “competitive co-op”. Of course if it comes out that there is no betrayal like in casuals we’re gonna do our damn hardest to find ways anyways. Lol
I have Game Pass so I’ll play it, but ngl, I played every Halo, but only completed 3 and Reach campaign since I only really played the multiplayer and customs because of friends. However, the concept of an open world campaign with upgrades sounds very enjoyable, so I’m definitely looking forward to it.
Unsure. I want it, but I don’t care for the large open world setting. I hope the actual missions are more tightly focused ala ODST with a way to select them individually after completion.

I’m definitely not buying the campaign, it will probably crash just as much if not more than multiplayer, and will likely not save your progress when it does crash. They also went the scummy route where the campaign is DLC, so if you played 2 hours of multiplayer you can’t refund it when it comes out and people figure out it’s unplayable/lacklustre.

You should play the Halo 2 Anniversary campaign, its gameplay and cutscenes are unarguably amazing.

I would have bought it but im playing with game pass, might eventually get it in the future on steam if it has any replay value.
I’m definitely buying the campaign! The MP is just keeping me busy until it’s here
Will make that decision once its out and I can see what’s up with it.
Maybe on sale in a year or so.
