I’ve been playing a lot, I’ve enjoyed a lot of it, but here I am, only a week later, and I’m bored… BORED! Halo 4 it took me 2 friggin weeks in pure play time to be bored. The biggest issue here is that there is no reason to do anything. There is no reason to do campaign after your first play through, unless you want to collect things, as there’s nothing to unlock. If I play the MP, there is nothing to keep me going. Go up in rank, get a package full of consumables. Get a commendation, get a pointless emblem. Buy reqs, get items you may or may not care about. There isn’t a reason to do anything, other than for the pure enjoyment of the experience. Which, while I love it, after only 5 modes in MP arena and 2 in warzone, there is nothing meaning full to do. Nothing…So I’m left conflicted, I want to play this cool game, but I’ve already done everything. I won’t unlock cool armors if I play, I won’t become MLG if I play, I don’t earn any meaningful rank, if I play. I have no reason to do anything. There is no progress for me at this point. I’d forge, but it’s missing, I’d play with the armor, but head and body is boring, there’s no point to play around an see what’s cool. There’s ugly bodies, a few cool ones, and then a bunch of ugly heads, and cool heads. Find a pair you like, forget about it for the rest of the game, because anything else you get won’t look good with what you have. I’m just, ahh, bored and feel like I have nothing to show for all the time I’ve spent.
Nope no where near board with it. Maybe because I have motivation to keep playing.
I got to get my helmet. specifically that helmet you have.
when the new maps and such come that will be refreshing though.
Halo games keep me hooked for years and Halo 5 will be one of the better ones at that. Can’t wait till the december drop.
I’m only bored with the same 3 Warzone maps. We should get 3-5 more come the Holidays.
I’ve switched back to Forza to break things up as far as Xbox time a little bit, but the lack of maps and modes early on has gotten old.

Not bored in the least. Maybe you need another hobby away from your Xbox for a few hours. A girl perhaps. Whatever it is, nobody cares if you’re bored with Halo already.
Halo 5 does not have as much to do as previous titles. New things yes… just not as much over all. So ya I am kinda getting bored.
Kinda. Not enough content right now to keep interest. If they had a PVE mode like Firefight that would make it better.

In some way i think
Maybe because having fun it isn’t all about the armor. The whole point of multiplayer is to interact with other people, I bet if you were looking to have fun you’d find it in the actual gameplay.

Huh? Oh! I’m so sorry. I somehow thought I was speaking with a mature individual. So sorry.
I do feel your pain. For me, the motivation for all games is, and has been for a long time, personal challenges. Sure, many of the unlocks are cosmetic, but they do have meaning. Stats? I look at them to compare where I was with where I am. Sure, the maps are limited, but I expect that to change as time goes on. Also, as more of my friends join in, the enjoyment level will grow as well. We have some of the most open maps I have seen shot of Skyrim. Explore. Look at, and discover the artwork the is baked into this game. This has to one o f the most appealing games I have played, visually. A lot of effort has gone into this, and knowing designer types in real life, I know they will have left their stamps in out of the way places.

You’re going for Scout too? Nice! I got Scout Observer but that helmet is WAY too dark compared to the colors on the rest of my armors. So I’m still working to get a different variant.

I got the scout helmet somehow but I don’t have the armor…
