Really want to know how many Aussies are actually playing still and active? Also how many are competative?
Me and my mate have been posting in recruiting for days now trying to find like minded semi competitive players from Australia. The only answers have been from people in US.
Then the only playlists that work consistently have been normal warzone, slayer, team arena and swat.
I’ve been matched on Japanese and US servers several times in Slayer games, arguably Halo’s bread and butter.
Add that to my full, but non active aussie Spartan company…
What’s going on? Any one know what the Australian presence in Halo is still?

I’m both on your XBL friends list and in the Spartan company, I stopped playing a few weeks ago, I’m waiting for the aiming update in December to see if I am going to play the game again

If you’re in Australia, don’t try and play warzone on a Sunday morning. Just don’t.
yeah I’ve had some super laggy AUS games. And smooth EU server games.

How do you know what server you’re on?

my friend was the party leader, and all playlists had red writing underneath them
“some players will have high latency on this server”
my best advice would be if you have any american or so friends, try playing with them when you cant find any games with Aus Friends.

I seem to be able to find them pretty easy until 1am
I’m from Australia and i find matches really quickly except for war zone assault and ffa which I can’t find at all. I’m trying to organise an Australian ffa game so message me if you are interested. I too have not played halo 5 as much as I normally would because I am waiting for the aiming update.
Hey if anyone wants to join my fireteam and play semi competitive arena, let me know ill add you. I play every night for around 3 hours and lots on weekends. We are after another 2, damn doubles not being permanent!
Ive found btb pretty hard to find games, especially late at night, even with a 6-8 size fireteam. I do have a few friends I play with but they are still pretty casual. Are there any sorta competitive Aussies out there?
Weekends are ok for obvious reasons.
I can normally tell with mic chat, Americans all seem to talk lots. Or if the names of everyother player are Japanese, plus the chat you can normally safely assume.
FFA and warzone assault. Forget them lol, I haven’t played assault since the first release week lol. Can never find games.
@Themorningstar, was wondering why you are never on lol. Have you tired a new controller? Ive heard the old ones are the main ones having issues.

I use the elite controller, its not just old controllers, its the aiming mechanics themselves that have changed
I hope the update will allow players to use preset aiming mechanics like say the beta which has perfect aiming mechanics IMO
