Depends more on how you use the word. Flaming and spamming are still flaming and spamming even if the offending words are masked with “Yoink!” or some other placeholder phrase. Note that partially obscuring the word – with asterisks, symbols, et cetera – generally counts as a censor bypass.
Of course, it’s better to avoid the situation altogether. Needless profanities are often seen as immature, not impassioned; nobody’s going to give you a funny look for calling Chief a badass, but a person ranting about “Yoink! Reach’s Yoink! Yoink! DMR” isn’t going to impress anyone. :\
