Are you afraid 343i involvement in Halo Wars 2?

With Halo Wars 2 being released this year, are you afraid 343i involvement in Halo Wars 2? For me, I don’t care what they do with the multilayer aspect. I know it’ll be somewhat different from the first game, but ill learn to live with it. What I am worried about is 343i persistence to leave their own twist within Halo Lore, which has so far hasn’t been for the better. For example, killing off black team, chiefs new ugly armor in H4, a different class frigate at the beginning H4, and not to mention they duped us into believing Locke and Chief were mortal enemies… so much inconsistency! The first Halo Wars was pretty badass and had a lot of charm to it. I just hope they don’t change too much in (lore wise to differentiate themselves from bungie) Halo Wars 2.

343 is the sole controller of the lore. If anything gameplay will be CAs domain, but 343 will do the lore. And I don’t especially have an issue with it.

I’m pretty sure they are only onboard in terms of making sure there is consistency between Creative Assembly’s upcoming HW2 storyline and the rest of the Halo universe; much like Bungie and Ensemble Studios’ Halo Wars storyline.

I am, 343i Stinks at halo. They have no imagination because they bought halo it wasn’t their brainchild, it’s bungie’s. All of the maps suck in halo 5, exept the community forged maps. The campaign is bland and repetitive, in comparrison to bungie made halos. 343 just has no idea what there doing mainly because they lack creativity.

Yes

343i didn’t buy Halo - Microsoft bought Bungie before Halo was even released, then Bungie left the franchise in 2011. 343i were specifically set up and brought together by Microsoft to take the franchise forward, they never existed before 2010

I AM TERRIFIED! You’ll be thinking you’re getting a fantastic game and it will live up to your expectations. But then they will throw in something stupid like have to pay real money to change the your team cosmetically. Instead, of making it achievable based on skill.

You never could change your team cosmetically in Halo Wars.

There were some cosmetic changes like the flaming warthog that were applied while playing a collector’s edition of the game. With a much less limited hardware, it is possible that 343 will throw in some kind of customization to make your army a tad bit more unique.

What do you mean “own twist”? 343 is the sole creator of lore. It is 343’s lore not Bungie’s.

Agreed Chief’s armor in 4 and 5 was BA!

Yes. I am afraid that 343i will f*ck up like they did with the past three titles they produced.
