I love Halo 5, and so many players go unnoticed or are disrespected constantly because of their K/D Ratio. K/D tells me that you are a good player, but mix in the arrogant personalities and tantrum like attitudes and we have another topic to write about. Great players are the players you look for as soon as you get online, the ones we like as people over their K/D Ratio. I picked 7 medals which are ASSIST related and created a new ratio called Team Player Ratio (TPR). The equation is simple (I took my counts from HALOWAYPOINT.COM, please use the same source). The equation is; A good attitude most of the time +1+2+3+4+5+7+6 TPM / Total multigames (arena + war zone) = Team Player Ratio!
Calculate the following medal counts (MY totals)
Assist (22880) + - Emp Assist (478) + - Protector (3053) + - Wheelman (5171) + - Guardian Angel (680) + - Wingman (590) + - Flag Driver (25) = 32877 TPR medals / 12029 multiplayers games played = 2.73 TPR What is your TPR? Once i have 25 responses I will be able to expand on my discussion. I came up with topic on the fly and any suggestions to help this post develope would be appreciated. Thank You Spartans.

After doing the above mentioned math, my TPR is 3.54.
I am an objective focused player and struggle at times getting large amounts of kills, though I can do that too. I like to think of myself as a support player.
Assist (3579) + - Emp Assist (5) + - Protector (436) + - Wheelman (260) + - Guardian Angel (77) + - Wingman (93) + - Flag Driver (2) = 4452 TPR medals / 914 multiplayers games played = 4.87 TPRI think i’m a very objective player. And playing previous halo games, i know I watch over weaker friends, to assist them to increase their survivability. Just kind of became a default mode, to be behind others, and get good hits.
And my girlfriend played about 1/4 of my games, and she is not a team player.
Assist (3068) + - EMP Assist (57) + - Protector (872) + - Wheelman (116) + - Guardian Angel (175) + - Wingman (96) + - Flag Driver (3) = 4,387 TPR medals / 2,878 matches = 1.524 TPR (yikes!)I’m more of a solo player than a team player, but I will contribute in areas whenever I can.
In addition, I would like to suggest including Bodyguard, Game Saver, Pounder Assist, and Team Takedown Assist as part of the TPR ratio.
I’m not gonna bother doing the math to figure out mine but I like the spirit of the thread OP. It’s nice to see people acknowledge that you can be a nice human being with whom others would want to play a game, even if you’re not Champion with a K/D of 5.0 and a win percentage of 99%.
I am terrible at the game but my stats prolly look even worse than I actually am because I shamelessly throw myself at the objective with the overriding goal of having fun more than padding my stats. And I do, in fact, have way more fun playing that way than if I’m clenched all the time focused on getting very last kill to keep that K/D up.
Give or take a couple math errors, this is what I was expecting. I would consider myself a support player, someone who’s there just to give cover for his team and help them in any way he can.That, and also take into consideration that I generally suck at the game and miss a lot of my shots so other guys finish off my targets either for me or after I die.

Factor in other assists from vehicles and such. Also take a look at my arena stats. It lists the number of assists I have in each mode. And like I said I may have miscounted.

AT the present time 8:11 am pst, your TPR is 3.35. way off man, but thank you for the reply. please follow the topic or add comments. I chose 7 medal types to keep it simple enough to get responses. adding up all medal types that fall into the assist total of our spartans would be overkill.

It also seems like their could be more to take into account, such as objective medals that are not awarded for a kill, such as Flag Capture Assists, Flag Returns, Flag Scores, Stronghold Caps …etc… The current metric just seems like a KDA 2.0. Amen and great response. Your attitude will be the reason I add you to my friends list after leaving my response. I want to hear more ppl comment at the very least, mostly b/c the TPR is my way of trying to have a fun with this topic. In time i hope to see a trend in the TPR totals so the topic may become useful so my theories can develope further.

Where did I make a mistake?
I went through the medals you listed and then added & divided them by my total games played (Arena and WZ).

1.16 TPR…63+37+51+0+165+1658+1378/2888=1.16TPR (as of 8:40 am PST 2/13/2017) Medal types that are to be counted are wingman, assist, emp assist, protector, guardian angel( these 5 are listed in the style medal group on ur service record page on HWP.com), flLAG DRIVER AND WINGMAN.

How do you figure? You realize you only get assist “medals” in Warzone right? You actually need to do some addition to figure out total assists. And now looking back at it, I never even counted my warzone assists, so yes, I should have about 1500 more than that. And looking at your service record, you are not counting both Arena and Warzone either.
