I started visiting this forum about 3-4 months ago.

before that i never felt like checking everyday for the latest on pretty much anything, but as a huge fan of halo I decided to start with halo 4

Okay so when I started checking on the halo 4 section of the forum everyday, I noticed a huge amount of complaints and hate that I did not expect to find here… However these complainers (is this right?) were the minority, but not for long…

As days passed and 343i kept releasing info from time to time , more and more people started disliking the changes 343i presented.

At first i really understood the point of the old school gamers who didnt like to see their game becoming something else, something new, but then I realized that some people started hating just because they can, and that just make me feel really really bad.

I mean you don’t need to play the game if you don’t want to.
Also, if the changes 343i made bother you so much, cancell your pre order.
Sell the game and go play BO2
there is always a way, and I say that because Frankie is not pointing a gun to your head and sayin “PLAY IT OR I WILL BLOW YOUR BRAINS OUT !”

Note that 98% of the complaints were from people who never really played the game.
You don’t see a lot of people who already have the game complaining…

I can’t say i LOOVE every single change 343i made, but I will just wait till I get the game to judge, and you haters should do the same.

The HALO community, the one that should be considered the most solid
Is now reduced to a bunch of little -Yoink- and a handful of survivors who are still excited about the game.

I’ll enjoy it… But am EXTREMELY disappointed in the lack of assault or race. And apparently 1 flag is gone too… Ugh. What happened to offense/defense games!?!

Halo 4 is going to be my first Halo game. I’ve played Halo 3 multiplayer and Reach. I really don’t think Halo 3 was all that. There were some things I really liked about it (for example to Beam Rifle, Battle Rifle and dual wield) But I’m really excited for Halo 4. I hope our little group of survivors isn’t so small or else Halo is going to have some dark years ahead of it. Ironic it seems like a lot the Gen 1 Spartans are giving up and we Gen 2’s are taking the wheel. Such is the way of the world I guess, a bunch give up but the rest teach the new generation. Can’t wait to see you all out there.

Also could anyone point me to some information about which weapons will be able to be chosen for loadouts and if the Mark VI will be usable in multiplayer since its Gen 1?

I’ve been checking everyday since reach. I like reading the threads even though I haven’t posted much since recently. It was like this before launch for reach (although the arguments were over legitimate things instead of people fighting over the strangest things.) the fighting has gotten worse recently as the community split in two after reach came out. I’m getting off topic. The point is a lot of people here are excited but they are scared. Another reach will kill this franchise and will make the next few halo games avoide like the plague. They just don’t want that happening again.
