Are we still going to get the minor things fixed?

I’ve been hearing Halo 5 is reaching an end to updates. I thought this might only apply to major updates. There are still some game-mode options and tiny bugs that need to be fixed. Will these get some attention/effort?

I really hope so, my dude. There’s a few problems that I would like to see fixed, one of which is the fact that often one or two people will not make it into Warzone games and end up stuck in a loading screen until they reset the game. Happens to me fairly regularly, and is a pain when I’m playing with a team of people.

Custom Games option where zombies don’t have a “no use” option for vehicles. Your issue I have experienced before. Failed assassinations (lags and they walk away). A couple more, too. Hopefully! If only they would just run back and nifty it up.

Can’t comment on the custom games glitches as I don’t really play customs on Halo 5 (last game I sunk any amount of custom games time into was Halo 3) but I have had the assassination glitch happen to me many times. Honestly, they just need to release a conclusive ‘fix all these little bugs’ patch for H5. Although, often the patches themselves inadvertently cause more bugs xD

Op I’m not sure if much more will be fixed/tuned or patched. Heck I’m still waiting for this heavy aim fix which has gone very silent lately. At the rate they fix things I wouldn’t hold my breath. Granted the heavy aim is likely more difficult but there is no excuse not to have this fixed already. 343I worst enemy number one is themselves. I haven’t been impressed to say the least…

Do you use any of the Voices from the Voices of War packs? That problem as been linked to using the pack.

Well we’re getting the heavy aim fix, and that’s anything but “minor…”

A bug that has affected player stats/performance, for over a year and a half, that can be felt from match to match… mechanical differences and the feel of the game, and it got written off as a conspiracy for months and months on end lol. I’ve argued its existence for some time now… TOURNAMENTS and LARGE prize pools on the line…

Unbelievable… at least we know it’s coming.

There are many bugs in the game I hope it will get fixed also

If it’s minor, I doubt it, unless it specifically somehow messes up gameplay.

Probably not. There have been many “minor” issues that have been present that, to my knowledge, still aren’t fixed. 343i doesn’t seem to care enough about those things in Halo 5, but hopefully things will be better for Halo 6 (or whatever it ends up being called).

I hope so. Though I don’t know how soon we’ll get them if we ever do, I’m sure it’s not exactly priority right now.

Ooh, I didn’t know that was the cause. I use Yabda. Good find man!

I didn’t buy Voices of War. It happened for like a month or 2, but it eventually stopped… thank god.

I think the settings for vehicles uses kind of messes with it. For instance, zombies have to have either full use or passenger. Sadly, there is no “no use” option to use. Maybe this?

What even is the heavy aim glitch?

I believe it is an issue where your aim is just very sluggish. I believe the same thing can be experienced as your controller gets older and the parts start to deteriorate, which was most likely why this glitch was ignored for so long.

Huh, well I don’t think I’ve ever noticed that.

I’ve read that the heavy aim is when your latency builds up throughout the game which in turn affects your aiming.

As for minor updates, I wouldn’t hold your breath. They’re not going to invest time and money for things that don’t have a major impact on the game this late into its lifespan.

I just remembered a rather important bug in Warzone. On Battle of Noctus and March on Stormbreak the red team can leave their home base without clearing it of enemies at the beginning. This can be a game-decider if one team can easily take two bases early and get a head start on the bosses. Such a major problem that I can’t believe hasn’t been addressed yet.

Heavy aim shows itself in various severities. Which makes it very strange to describe and notice. Some games have it through the whole game and some games have it for short times in a single game. Also it may not effect everyone on the same team equally. To be honest one doesn’t really notice it because the game seems fine. Its until you move or shoot that you begin to start to notice such things as the heavy aim. Your Spartan mobility will perform sluggish. Your aim becomes erratic and very hard to control. Everything you do just seems off. And the thing is one wouldn’t even realize this unless they knew how the game was suppose to play like. That is why so many may not even know they have the heavy aim effect. I really call this whole effect silent death. Because you never know when or where it might effect you in a game. And by the time you do realize it the game is over.
