Are we ruining Halo?

I have this video of something is pretty true to this link on us gamers.

Do not make nonconstructive posts.

I’ve seen that video, it’s about games in general.
343 and -Yoink!- are killing Halo, no contest.

I feel like this is very opinionated

They aren’t milking it we did the community feedback program to make the game and we were heard by us fans as Halo 4 did not do that and look at what it turn out.

I think Halo 5 is great but the fans not being open to new stuff is killing Halo.

(Don’t respond with ‘ER MAH GERDDD THIS ISNT CoD OMGWTRFBBQQQ’, Halo 5 is far from CoD lmao)

Are there any examples of fans that prevent i343 to try new things?
Are there any examples of fans that are not open to new things?

That sentence doesn’t make any sense.

If you’re saying that Halo 4’s general awfulness is a result of the fans, I say nay. Don’t remember anyone asking for Sprint, Killstreaks, Loadouts, and watered down gameplay in general. In the end, the developers make the games, not the consumers.

I shouldn’t have said ‘fans’ but there are many people who think this. I mean, the forums were full of people like that at the time on launch ->

As far as I remember the launch, I remember people who weren’t happy with what they got in Halo 5.
However I do not remember a single one stating that they were not open to new things.
To me there’s a big difference between not being happy with what you get, and being against new things, or change.

So we caused 343 and Microsoft to produce misleading ads for the Halo 5 campaign?

One man’s innovation is another man’s heresy, and as long as there are two Halo players then there will be two different opinions on what the game should be, and one developer trying valiantly to reconcile those seemingly unreconcilable positions. The trajectory of 343 Halo titles suggests to me that they’re finding the path. The pace of innovation may not be as fast as the pro-change players would like, and the pace may be uncomfortably fast for the reactionaries who believe that sprint was the death of Halo, but the franchise will move forward either way you choose to look at it. And if anybody doesn’t believe that this game has innovated and done it successfully, then go play a round of CE team slayer on MCC, and then a round of Warzone. The beating heart is the same, yet they really couldn’t be more different. That’s the balance 343 has to strike, and I think they’ve done it brilliantly. Halo: not ruined. By anyone.

Well people who are saying Halo is ruined are people who hanging on the past of the Bungie-era can’t admit that they aren’t coming back.

Am I the only one getting annoyed by the “X is killing Halo” hyperbole?

Loooooool… this delusional person doesn’t see how Halo 4 and the MCC failed. Along with the disappointment that is Halo 5 in a sense I hope Halo dies before I hate the franchise because of 343i.

I not being rational we talk to 343 as community to make Halo.

IE: I’m getting annoyed by the fact that people are constantly claiming that things are killing halo. Be it 343, Microsoft, the community whatever. Halo is still here. Not as popular as it used to be, but still ‘breathing’ so to speak. Nothing is killing it.

Well maybe but after reading many post hate criticism is getting me annoyed since there is not much proof.
