I’m in the process of reading Hunters in the Dark right now and as everyone who has read it knows that the Humans and elites cross the paths of many different species of animals on the Ark. Do you think we’ll encounter any in Halo 5?
Edit; I’m specifically interested in whether any of these animals will be intractable as far as posing a combat threat goes.
I wouldn’t mind having the Moas back in Halo 5 so we can run them over for challenge credits.
I hope we see the animal the Helioskrill armor is based on.
It’s possible we’ll see Sangheilian fauna. Some flying gas sac-like animals have already been seen in concept art multiple times, but nothing other than that. They’re unlikely to be a threat, though. We might even have to shoot them for an achievement.

Its been unofficially confirmed by Tim Longo to have ambient life in the campaign of Halo 5: Guardians

…I think that the armor itself is based off of the Arbiter’s armor. Are you talking about the name of the armor?
H0lmbl0m confirmed this on a Interview with Tim Longo if I remember correctly
I’m interested in seeing what they have added. Hopefully something that can kill you, and maybe those rat things the Sangheili eat just for giggles.
It would be cool if we could ride moas or run them over>:D
