Hello to all. I was wondering if anyone has heard or read are we really getting more SR ranks and if so does that mean more Specializations or just ranks cause being stuck at 130 is really starting to suck.
I think I read somewhere that nothing’s planned right now, but I may be wrong. So take what I say with a pinch of salt as I’m not sure.

What would be the point? If more ranks are put in you will eventually reach the max and you will be in the same problem.
Are you only playing to get a rank or do you find the gameplay enjoyable? If its only for the rank I think its time to quit but if you enjoy the gameplay that should be enough.

Calm down dude, He was just agreeing. Hell I play for fun all and I still wouldn’t mind a few more SR ranks, Not so I can see the number go up, But just because, plain and simple. Don’t take everything out of context.
Also Why do people insist in typing in such a ridiculous color that you can barely read
on the color thing, looking at the white text on the black background hurts my eyes, and it is really easy to stop that and that is to change my color of my text. it is also made very easy by this forum to do so. one things they did right.

I don’t think 343 has planned for more ranks.
I don’t think so, but if it is, I’ll be expecting more Specialization with weapons from prev. titles.
Plasma Rifle, Spiker, SMG.
I really don’t care about my SR Rank, CSR will fix your need for more numbers. And if they add more SR wouldn’t it make sense to add more specializations? They would have to put the time into balancing them.

New armour CAN’T be added into the game, since EVERY file and bit of coding in the game would need to be re-written to incorporate new armours. This would be a game sized update, which will NOT happen.
Seriously, there have been multiple threads on this topic where it has been explained why new vehicles, armours, specialisations, weapons etc CANNOT be added to the game.
I doubt it, but that doesn’t stop me from hoping.
Nothing makes less sense than when people answer questions like this with “Who cares? What’s the point? Just play for fun and not some stupid number!” and then start a new thread raging about how CSR isn’t in game.
if you can’t rank up then players will go for the commendations hopefully then dmrs are maxed out first and we see less of them. which is all good.
Couldn’t hurt. It’s not a great incentive to keep playing, but it gives you something to do.
and to the OP, you do realize that SR mean “spartan RANK” right?

i wish we could go back to the days of Halo 1. when we carried 19 inch tube tv and the OG xbox to each others houses just ot get more then 4 people playing and having fun. and NOT caring about some stupid number.
Adding more SR is pointless. Like another person said, if there were more ranks, eventually, you’ll hit the limit again and you’d would be back to square one.
That’s why we need skill ranks (not progressive) because the variable can both increase AND decrease, as opposed to the progression system which ONLY increases until it hits the roof. Hopefully, CSR will fill this empty hole.

That works for Ranked players and a little bit for Social players, but I’m sure those Social players would prefer more Exp. based ranks.
We all like ranks that give us incentives to keep playing, but not everyone likes the same type of ranking system.
