Are we finally getting colored objects in Forge?

I’ll be honest…I haven’t really been keeping track of this game as much as I have past Halo’s, so forgive me if I’m posting old news/discussion. I just checked out Greenskull’s Breakout videos, and I noticed a difference in color on Gambol vs. Altitude. Gambol has a greenish-yellowish theme, while Altitude has a red theme. Although all of the coloring on Altitude, as well as a lot of it on Gambol, are part of the liner (similar to the building blocks in H2A Forge) it looks like Gambol has a few blocks entirely colored.

Am I wrong to assume the Breakout maps are part of a Forge canvas and not completely separate developer maps?

Another thing I have to wonder is if you can place map call outs in Forge. If the breakout maps are all part of a singular canvas, it would seem to imply that this is the case.

i believe it was stated that breakout maps are forge maps. So we will most likely be getting colored blocks.

I’m sure that you will be able to place named areas around the map. If not then name-able areas.

Yes, blocks can be colored with a primary and secondary color.

Trench and Crossfire were made entirely with Forge, so I think it’s safe to assume that Gambol and Altitude were as well.

This is racist. Also, I’d assume some are colorable.

The beta maps revealed to us this feature. Pegasus had a normal gray versions of a large cylinder block, and then had fully colored versions too.
