I know when Cortana unleashed the Guardians, it killed numerous humans and aliens.
But apart from this, are we certain she’s already killed people/aliens who haven’t agreed to her new way?
I know many people have said she has. So I’m just curious if this is a fact, or a guess based on assumption. We know when she arrived to Earth to find Infinity, she turned off all the power (the lights went out). Perhaps that’s all she’s done so far
But correct me if I’m wrong. Maybe I missed it in the game, or another source
She hasn’t directly killed anyone, but she has indirectly killed people by activating the Guardians without regard for human life.
She also threatened to kill people who disagreed with her with her little speech:

Dude shes killed people, when she activated that emp thousands of people in orbit and on the surface probably died because of mass confusion and medical life support being deactivated. Also shes the one in command of promethean forces, and whenever a guardain was activated you could always see them mowing down civilians and marines left and right for no particular reason.
This was a big problem I had with H5’s campaign… You’re just playing along and the game chatter’s like “welp, Cortana’s killed some people…” no gravity or weight behind it at all.
Like it may as well have never happened… I mean here we are asking about whether it even happened or not lol. Weak storytelling…

It was pretty much clarified in the breaking mission.
Yes she has, indirectly counts and she’s already acknowledged she’d take down those who refuse her “offer”. She also decided to lock chief up which should show she’ll take out even those who were close to her. My guess is come h6, we’ll see chief and cortana end it one way or another. (-Yoinking!- sad to me as well being how cortana is my favorite character in the franchise).
Well, she turned out the power, which means no Wi-Fi or cellular networks. Think of all of the teenagers who are going to die as a result!
In all seriousness though, the EMP released by the Guardians would have disabled medical facilities and other safety measures, killing things in the process. There’s also the fact that the Promethean constructs under her control just kinda kill stuff indiscriminately, sooo…

Does Cortana have a Composer(or multiple even)? That’s kinda what it sounds like. “Burn hot and consume you… we will take that which remains, and we will remake it in our own image.” So Cortana and the Created want to make a new species of Prometheans? I would say the Halo Ring but the remake part just goes to the Composer. Plus that would mean Cortana has an AI army, Multiple Guardians, a Halo Ring (with the Flood possibly on it), and now maybe multiple Composers.

Maybe she somehow found a way to make the Halo Act like a giant composer? I know it sounds a bit off but considering how often 343 has pulled the Space Magic card in the last years it’s definitly a possibility (a veeeeery small one though)
Yup. How bout her legacy as an A.I. who would have given her life for the people she loved, effectively making her human. Now she is literally the complete opposite, and is written like a copy of the Didact(who was taken out of the story for no reason at all).
…But that’s just my opinion.
…And most people that played the campaign.
