The game is still broken for a lot of people, yet 343 has not updated us in a couple days, and their twitter account is promoting the Halo Championship series (which is a total slap in the face to people who still can’t play the online).
343 either doesn’t know what the problem is or there are so many issues with the matchmaking that it will take them an extra month to fix.
Bottom line… this is ridiculous.
The fact that they have been keeping us updated, with the last update being on the most recent business day, proves that they are not ignoring any of us. Technical problems aside, there are still plenty of people, I assume, that have nothing to do with fixing these issues. Surely you jest if you think they should stop what they are working on, too.
While I think they should have pushed the release date back, the team seems to be working as diligently as they can to resolve the issues.
Regarding twitter, I know a lot of companies that use tweet software allowing then to schedule tweets for specific times. Good chance 343 have that for the halo account. I don’t think we are being ignored, probable that they don’t have any information with releasing right now. I’m sure we’ll have more details coming through very soon

As I said we have not been updated in a couple of days. Which may sounds like me overreacting, but we are approaching 3 weeks of this game being in a broken state. We should be getting daily updates.

That it does. Would you rather they sat there giving a Q&A, or would you rather have them shut the hell up and patch the stupid thing. It’s not like they ever say anything worthwhile anyway, it’s always just: “It doesn’t work, we’re working on it, sorry yo.”

Any information would be better than nothing. I’m sure they’re working on it, but when they don’t say anything at all, you start to wonder if they really are working on it. Even if they go into super detail about networking stuff that I don’t even understand, that would be just fine. At least I could see the progress that they are making, rather than just waiting for very vague, empty statements about how hard they are working. There are at least a handful of employees who aren’t involved in coding or networking (secretaries, etc.) that could easily type up a report every few hours or even just once a day.

Even SP is not working for me I can’t save anything in Halo 1,2,3,4.
Seems people think that a sentence or two every few days is 343 keeping us updated? this is not keeping us updated at all and yes it is ignoring us! how many of the threads in these forums do they respond to? how many questions that are being asked are responded to on here? i’ll tell you exactly how many… None! i bet their heads are well and truly in the sand where this forum is concerned and they daren’t read most of the threads!
this has been 3 weeks, still can’t get games regular. I daren’t play the campaign due to legendary progress being wiped on multiple occasions and achievements just stuck. so yes everyone who has paid $60/£45 has a -Yoink!- right to have a good moan! this is one of the most broken releases i’ve ever seen if not the worst! and for one of the biggest IP in gaming its inexcusable, I can’t play the game how it was ADVERTISED its that simple. so should i just shut up and say oh well other games break… no! if you have a complaint with other brands or consumer products not working as advertised you are usually compensated and given a WORKING product in return.
this isn’t happening and we are being informed and kept in the dark. I want to know whats wrong, i want to know the technical reasons why this is all so bad, i want to know what they are doing specifically every day to fix this! and the only reason i can think of for them not doing that is a legal one and they have been told to shut up and just get on with it with fear of giving lawsuits evidence against them. if thats not the reason please give me another valid reason as to why the updates contain NOTHING of substance. “next update release to be shared very soon” very soon as in this week? next week? next month? absolutely disgusting and I’m not holding up much hope for the state of the halo 5 beta after this mess.
and yes i have a right to be miffed! i am a massive halo fan, read all the books, comics, played every game! bought merchandise, i love the universe… seems one game in 343 have already damaged the brand name and trust associated with it, because after buying every battlefield game ever on day one i can tell you for nothing i won’t be buying the next battlefield game day one after BF4’s mess! and thats a big deal for me and i bet I’m not alone in my thinking. the brand is damaged, its made mainstream press for gods sake even people that know nothing about gaming and halo but know i play it have mentioned it to me! disgusting from 343 and no matter how hard they’re working the lack of communication and treating us like idiots is unforgivable

343 are just adressing the MP problems btw. They didnt even acknowledge Nightfall access, terminals, Halo Channel, saves and achievements are broken too!
