Thread title, does anyone know if any of the 4v4 arena maps will have vehicles? if vehicles are limited to only BTB and warzone I will be extremely disappointed!
I kind of hope they are kept out of the 4 vs 4 arena matches.
I don’t think they’ll be out of the arena, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they are.
I doubt arena will have vehicles, and if it does it wouldn’t be anything more than a Mongoose or two.
There is uncomformation that a non named 4v4 halo map will have a drive able pelican and scorpion in a room so small that they can’t move.
Or to put simply, I don’t know OP.
I’d have to say that the vehicles will only be allowed on ‘4v4’ maps that incorporate flags, or bombs, and are large enough to actually house the vehicles. The ones that we have seen, are not. (Aside from warzone maps)
Vehicles are traditionally reserved for 8v8. Most competitive 4v4 people would have a fit if 343 tried to put a warthog in team slayer.

For the record I really only mean the smaller vehicles (warthog, ghost, mongoose) I would just hate for arena to have soooo many maps and none of them incorporate a vehicle or two, most of my favourite halo maps are the 4v4 sized ones that have vehicles (Zanzibar, burial mounds, ascension, terminal, high ground, snowbound etc)
I know what you mean, vehicles are good in maps like Zanzibar and High Ground. But then there’s 4v4 maps where vehicles feel out of place, such as (imo) the warthog in Turf. There really isn’t that big of a space to drive it and I just don’t think it’s works that well with the map flow. But I guess I don’t mind a mongoose or ghost thrown into a few arena maps here and there.

Yeah they need to have 1 or 2 maps in halo 5 like zanzibar that incorporate ghosts, mongooses and warthogs.

it’s all good man it sure as hell isn’t the first time 343 has let me down
They will implement btb afther launch (I know… is sad) but it will have maps exclusively made for big team battle that will support vehicles
