I have been on a grind lately and opening a lot of gold packs… I haven’t seen any usnc tanks at all except the base scorpion and I got that in a silver. Is any one else having this bad of luck trying to get tanks?
Maybe 343 can bring back the vehicle packs soon for points

Just got a urban scorpion tonight… First non base line tank in like 50 gold packs it seems.
It is definitely brutal getting the reqs you want, after many days of play since the game came out, I have every req in the game, and getting the ones I wanted was definitely a nightmare. You really need to have luck on your side that’s for sure.
Personally I always open SILVER PACK, and I have no problems with the tanks
Sounds like your luck is just bad. Don’t buy any Lotto tickets today. I got around 4 tanks playing last night. And one was in my daily login pack.
Better luck tomorrow op though I personally would take like ghosts or wraiths over the unsc counterpart. Man can I wreck with a ghost… But I spend them all too quickly. 
Just bad luck, got back into Halo 5 again and my luck with trying to get Wasps is laughable

Same for me. I want wasps for firefight, but few and far between. Phaetons too (obviously).
I don’t use air vehicles in regular warzone, but they’re great for firefight.
I haven’t bought any req packs in 4 weeks but I can tell you I have not received any tanks of any kind from daily and wins etc, like some have in this thread.
Right now for me, it is Phaetons I’m looking for. It seem the RNG gods have denied me them.
I used to focus gold packs but even though it says uncommon to rare reqs they still frequently drop greys. Then i remember reading soemwhere that silver was a great way to unlock certain low level things and in the process of doing that i came to love the abundance of vehicle req’s that i actually want. I have somewhere in the order of 100 each of wraiths scorpions and ghosts, close to 100 banshees and im slowly building my wasp collection too. Nothing above blue quality but the gold packs are far more likely to toss in multiple grey unarmed mongooses and generic needlers than to every even consider giving a single phaeton or laser scorpion in a single pack. Also alot more xp and req point boosts and once you get a certain point of unlocks each silver pack essentially costs 2k points as you get refunded 3k in the perm unlock slots, as well as whatever else it rolls. 2 xp/req boosts and possibly 3 or more blue quality vehicles or good quality power weapons with 60% of the purchase price refunded every time is a great deal

Yea I can atesat to this as well used to only buy gold’s but recently started getting silvers and the results have been amazing. Since I play a lot of firefight soo always need wraiths, banshees, wasps, ghosts etc .Been getting tons of the reqs I would always run out of and at half the cost of a gold pack.
I don’t think gold packs give greys at all. Green minimum and vast majority in gold packs are blue and purple. My experience anyway.
I get enough tanks, personally, so they’re definitely not gone.
