I can’t seem to find a definitive answer on this. I’m currently trying to get the Who Needs Them? achievement in Halo 3 and I heard you can’t if you pick up a turret. Is this true? I’m already half way through the mission and I’ve picked up quite a few turrets by now. If so, I will have effectively wasted a whole hour of my time!
You can pick up already detached turrets fine but I’m not sure about mounted turrets
As far as the “Are turrets considered vehicles” question goes, yes mounted turrets are considered vehicles; at least within the Forge mode they are. But like Yazite said, already detached turrets should be fine dude.
I had fun getting that achievement…twice! I know in Halo 2 they are considered vehicles.
The turrets are considered vehicles normally.
