Are they gonna gimp the new maps AGAIN?

In Halo Reach the dlc maps were so badly handled, you never got to play them, they were hidden away in -Yoink- playlists and in general were just pushed aside despite being really good maps, far better than the original maps in many ways.

Now with the crimson map pack approaching I hope 343 make the right decision and just put them in the regular playlists, most people will probably buy them and if not then tough, make a non-dlc playlist or something to keep them happy. Don’t wreck the DLC maps with -Yoink- playlists this time 343, LET US PLAY WITH THE MAPS WE BOUGHT -Yoink!-! So yeah…go do that 343 and don’t let the poor guide your decision.

They need to do it both ways. The way Treyarch and other devs do it. Have a playlist for it and also have the maps appear in every playlist if everyone in the match has the map pack or packs. It should also try to find people who have the maps. That would be the perfect way so everyone is happy.

That’s exactly what Halo: Reach did. The only problem is whenever new DLC came out, they replaced that playlist with the new DLC playlist.

Yes , and this is a big problem , but now is worse , They remove all DLC playlist , and we only have Annyversary Classic to play only the Annyversary map pack , not Noble Map pack or Defiant

Considering that it looks like there are map/gametype specific achievements, I fear just that as in Reach it became very difficult to try and even get what normally was a relatively easy achievement.
