Is the plan to allow players to be any color in PVP? It’s going to be extremely confusing to see red players on blue team or blue players on red team. I adjusted, but during my first few games of bot slayer I found my self questioning each time I saw an enemy or ally whos team they were on. I get that they want “COSMETICS $$$$$”, but it shouldn’t be a question at all about who is an ally and who is an enemy. The outlines are fine I guess, but distract from the games aesthetic and are just a worse way of signifying teams than the old system of colors.

Interestingly enough I haven’t had that problem of mis identifying targets. I guess years of cod/tarkov/pubg and most modern games have made me used to it.
Within the unfortunate limitations of coatings, yes. You will show your coatings in-game, no team colors
I have a hard time adjusting.
My brain just registers the colour of my enemies and I shoot my team automatically. Or I register the colour of my team and don’t instinctively shoot the enemy with gives it a second to shoot me first.
I don’t like it at all. Call me boomer, but I want classic red v blue back. As an option at least. I don’t really look at (or care about) what coatings others choose to wear anyway.
I’ve had a few issues of people picking blue armor coatings. Even with the outlines, I’ve shot at quite a few of them, and a clip later I’m confused at why this God Bot isn’t dying.
I adapted almost instantly. Didn’t have much problem. Will see when it’s pvp though as it’s currently just bots.

Blue Bots with Red outline, catch me off guard a few times, but after a few games I started to adjust.
The outlines should be helping you out a bit. It did confuse me at first, but just remember that there is no longer a blue or red team, just Eagle and Cobra and those colors can be changed to whatever you like. For example, I play on Green team lol
