I’m sure it is not final but should do a good job representing what the game will look like. However the beta is running at 720p and the final version will be at full 1080p
Thank goodness. At some points I had a hard time believing the graphics were even 720p. It felt like I was watching a homemade YouTube clip of halo.
I hope not. I’m none too fond of the design for the Energy Sword.

No they don’t. You seriously misjudge the graphics. The graphics are the best graphics of this generation, and they aren’t final.

Doubt it. Up rezing and fixing frame rate are normally done throughout the entirety of the development cycle. Usually as soon as it is barebones playable on literally geometric, work starts. And usually the last to be done.

You’re playing a Beta. You’re also playing a Beta that is running at 720p when the final build will be in 1080.
Things like tearing and stuttering should be fixed by launch, I’m sure.

Graphics are one of the last things polished. This beta is a year from launch and is focused on gameplay, not visuals.
Besides, I completely disagree with your statement. For unpolished, 720p, early build visuals, this game looks pretty fantastic.
Graphics to me look pretty good. But they definitely can (and should) improve it. I do hope they reach 1080p. But I prefer… gameplay > graphics… Or 60fps > 1080p. So far, they’ve already achieved 60fps… Which is nice.
And correct me if I’m wrong… But didn’t 343i even said that Halo 5’s graphics will surpass those of The Order 1886??? It’s even on Google.

GTA V on last gen wasn’t particularly visually impressive. It had a nice art style, to be sure, but it is really not impressive on a technical level at all. Halo 4 was, but 5 pretty obviously superior in several respects. Neither of those games fit any of the criteria I specified. I think you just don’t know what you’re talking about.

I would agree
The upscaling is also what is causing the game to appear so dark.

He was kind of close with the Halo 4 suggestion I think. Doesn’t Halo 4 run at native 720p on the 360? Granted, it didn’t have the best of framerate but it still pulled some crazy good looking graphics.
Apparently 98% of you haven’t paid any attention at all… To answer your question again, OP… No, visually the game isn’t anywhere even close to the final product.
The beta runs in 720p 60fps, and the detail in the game overall are hardly even close to being partially finished.
The final product will probably look 10x better than this and it’ll simultaneously run in 1080p 60fps.
On the other hand the gameplay is competitive and fun as hell at the same time. Am I right?
