Are there still rifles we have yet to see?

So far you could make custom loadouts that allow you to choose from:

DMR
BR
Covenant Carbine
Storm Rifle
AR

I’d imagine that eventually, the Light rifle would be added if it’s tweaked a bit for MP to add even more variety. But do you guys think we still have more weapons that we have yet to see? What ever happened to the rumors on the Assault Carbine or possible return of the Needle Rifle? I know there were rumors on something else, DMG or something like that, right? Could we see even more rifles soon? Maybe ancient evil variants and such?

i was really hoping for an actual LMG. Not one of those turrets like a SAW or something because we don’t have one in Halo

You missed the Light Rifle, and the Shotgun was in the custom loadout list on a screenshot from the beta build.

Actually, I think the Assault Carbine is now the Storm Rifle. Not sure, though.
