Hi All,

Came back to Reach after yrs of being away and am still noticing some [pretty dodgy) over-armoured players and people that can kill with 2 headhots against full shield (and no not with the sniper rifle! ;))

My question I guess is have other players on this forum noticed this and are Bungie / 343 pretty much not caring as it’s an older game?

I’m a much better player than I was coming back to Reach after Halo 4 but I think i’ve played waaaaay more than enough Reach to spot when something feels wrong with others abilities.

What you’re experiencing is likely lag, not players cheating or using any exploits.

343 Industries haven’t really done anything with Halo: Reach since the August 2012 update before Halo 4 came out other than routine maintenance every few weeks.

I dunno about that on watching replay I saw for exapmle as sniper take 2 grenade point blank and still live… it just looked very very dodgy.

I’ve also seen on replay a 2 shot DMR kill from the players perspective that looked also iffy :frowning:

If you ever suspect anyone is cheating, be sure to file a complaint against them.

Just curious, did you save the film clip of said player doing this? I’d be interested in seeing it.

I came across a guy in BTB with the RTH mod online. He had weapon mods, and super speed/super jump. ARs that shot rockets, DMRs that shot snipers. Then he gave us (his team) sniper DMRs lol! I added him, but he was permabanned a few days later.

At least Halo has the banhammer to eliminate cheating.

having the same problems, one grenade killed, one headshot, players who’s heads seem to be impervious to head shots, guys who can zip side to side really fast when your zeroed in (ive tried this with thumbstick its impossible to do without mods) and its not lag only happens when im firing at them, the nets awash with mods for reach so wouldn’t be surprised if it is cheating, which is sad cos it ruins the game
