I’ve heard that there is a unannounced assassination that apparently came with the Anvil’s Legacy update, could that have something to do with it?
Most likely a UI error. I’ve unlocked everything from the update as well as everything else and there was no assassination. Looking at my game, it says I have 28/29 with no sign that there’s another to unlock. Unless they added one that is a completely random, it’s probably just a bug. Could be there’s a space for an upcoming one and they forgot to remove it from the total count. Who knows. Game development is fun.
There was a new assassination that briefly showed up on Waypoint and is likely the one assassination you’re missing.
It was probably added for a future content update but accidentally counted in the… count.
It’s not a UI glitch. There are more assassinations coming in later updates. I heard that someone actually used one of them.

What rarity is the '“Take out the trash” assassination, the one that seemed to accidentally release with update? Will I get it with either Silver or Gold packs?
I’ve had this as well and it’s happened with armour and helmets with me as well I have a space for Achilles and one other that isn’t there

There was not a new assassination that i know of. I have already unlocked all the new items and I did not see one.

I think that’s the case because the only assassinations I haven’t collected yet are “104 ways to die” and “Take out the trash”. If I collect both of those it’ll bring the total up to 29/29.

I hope it’s still there because I’d really like to have it
